The Meritel Hanoi is one of the best hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. The common areas and rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the bed and pillows were wonderful. The food is very good and the rooftop pool and bar are hard to leave. The best and most memorable part of our stay at the Meritel Hanoi was how well we were treated by the entire staff. I have traveled globally and stayed in many nice hotels over the years and have to say the staff at the Meritel Hanoi is the friendliest, most helpful and professional hotel staff I have experienced. Our host who checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay was so personable, genuine, helpful and kind. Ami made us feel veryspecial. Our next trip to Hanoi will definitely be at the Meritel Hanoi. Thanks to the entire staff.

The room was mostly good. The bathroom being completely transparent can be a problem if you want privacy from other people travelling with you. The drain in the shower was a bit clogged. The receptionist was friendly but forgot to give instructions for the breakfast so I was trying to find it for some time until I found someone to ask, and the breakfast is in a completely separate building a block or two away. By the time I got there it was mostly finished and the options were pretty limited. If all you need is a good bed for the night with wifi, it's fine.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. This hotel felt like our oasis. The food, especially the breakfast buffet, was delicious. The spa is also excellent. I will stay here every time I am in Hanoi.

Beautiful, amazing!

Good value for money, staff were great, food was plentiful and fresh, rooms could do with a spruce up but comfortable bed and had own bathroom/toilet. Crew were really helpful and they made the trip fun for all passengers. Squid fishing was fun and making Vietnamese spring rolls. Disappointing to see so much trash in the sea, although this is out of control of this particular cruise boat.
