"Beautiful, updated cabin, tucked in the middle of the woods. Peace, calm, serenity. Daily deer sightings. Short walk to a beautiful lakefront with pier, nice variety of fish caught right off pier. Short drive to town. Dave was helpful and quick to respond with any questions."

"WOW, We have stayed at many homes and this one is at the top of all those. This is the first time the physical property exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with quality things. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice shredder so we could make homemade hash browns from potatoes at the farmer's market. We were able to cook PERFECT steaks from the Prime Choice Meat Mkt as the gas grill was clean and in perfect working order & again, we were surprised to find a meat thermometer!Our hosts went above and purchased a new pack-n-play for our 15 month old grandson so we didn't need to bring one. The fridge was nice and large with an ice maker that worked great for summer drinks.Outdoor spaces were all neat, clean with plenty of seating. The fire pit is the largest one I have ever seen. They provide firewood, kindling a Smores kit and nice long sticks for either Smores or hot dogs, etc.The hosts greeted us and made sure we were familiar with the house and all its features. They really want their guests to be comfortable - they thoughtfully labeled many of the light switches, a small, but thing but really makes the first day or so easier. Bill walked us through the boat. They have plenty of life preservers including one for our little one.They even thought about the dogs & had dishes, towels & a cushion for our fury one.We had a wonderful family week and hope to return in the future!"

"The home is exactly how to described. We had a group of 11 and we all had a spot without being cramped. We had one issue and they took care of it immediately. It was a really great touch, the s’mores kit and even better it had gluten-free graham crackers. Two people in our group have celiac disease and it was a nice surprise to have a treat for us. The house was clean the kitchen had everything you could’ve possibly needed. It had a great pantry that we were able to store all of our food in. It was discussed the staircase, which is a little tricky, but it didn’t bother us. The walk down to the lake is down a hill and does get tiring at times however, the views and the deer visiting are well worth it. It’s fantastic having your cup of coffee in the morning and the deer are coming up to visit. We brought our boat for tubing and the lake was definitely not busy. We normally had the area in front of the house all to ourselves. It was fantastic. We had plenty of room for all of our vehicles and the trailer of the boat."

"Kayaks and corn hole a hit with our grandkids! Little ones loved fishing off the dock and caught so many little fish they lost count! House nicely furnished and everything we needed. Pontoon boat great fun too. We even had no humidity which was a wonderful amenity!!!"

"The cabin is a typical nothwoods cabin it had everything we needed. Good location We used the OldTown and Pelican kayaks and wifey used the paddle board. Caught some smallmouth bass off the doc"

"The property is nice and the location is lovely, however, the door code was not functioning properly. We contacted management and tried the suggestions offered without success. She was able to contact her manager and disable the lock, which allowed access. After that, we were unable to lock the door when leaving the property. The 8:00 am check-out was also inconvenient. We’ve stayed at many rentals over the years and we’ve never had a check-out time prior to 10:00 am."
