We enjoyed absolutely everything about this place! Our kids loved the basement and made full use of the rock climbing wall! They loved the playground, giant chess/checkers and Jenga! The views of the lake and watching the sunset were stunning! Lots of things to do within a 20minute drive from the property.

A Royal Retreat for Relaxation

Such an amazing place, this is our 2nd time here within the past year. My family loves the place and easy access to the lake which is so peaceful to see at sunrise and sunset. Friendly staff as well and the place is clean. Price is fair. Pure relaxation

Simple, and had all we needed, including the beach! Comfy, and well stocked. Clean and felt spacious. Customer service was responsive and helpful. Finding the drive in the dark, after hours, was a challenge. Look for the red lighthouse slightly back from the road.

10/10 FAR exceeded my expectations!!! This was a family trip with my husband and 6-year-old twins, and we couldn’t have been happier with the cottage. It had literally everything!! Forget your pizza cutter? Check. Need a small fan to sleep at night? Check. Access to your Netflix or Disney account on the tv? Check. Its probably 20 steps to get to the beach access point, each cottage has their own private bonfire with chairs and hanging string lights. The beds are comfy. We stayed 4 nights and will DEFINITELY be returning next summer!! I’d like to mention that the customer service also deserved 5 stars. I had some trouble with the registration (user error) and I texted the property manager and they took care of it right away and texted me the entry code and instructions.

Relaxing and Secluded Escape

Three of us stayed in the Deluxe Cabin #1 for four nights and it was cute, comfortable, and well-appointed. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, living room, AC, and it's light, airy, and quiet. There were plenty of towels, coffee maker, and everything you'd need to settle in. It's right on Lake Michigan and just a short flight of stairs down to the beach. The cabins are charming and seeing the little cluster of them with the view of the lake is pure Americana. I don't know how old they are, but they're well maintained. The caulk around the tub/shower in our cabin could probably be refreshed, and there's tape holding the toilet seat together but somehow it didn't take away from the experience. Some simple suggestions to make it a little better would be having a clothesline outside to hang towels and swimsuits, and a hose to wash off the sand before going inside. The only complaint we have is that the WiFi was unstable and very slow, so if you're planning on doing any work or just surfing or streaming on the TV, you're probably going to be frustrated. So either resolve not to work or watch TV, or plan to deal with it.
