Great location for exploring the Muskegon area. Reasonably priced, lovely cafe on site, and pet friendly. It was everything we needed for a winter getaway.
This small apartment had recently been remodeled with some nice high end touches. Having a washer and dryer (nice ones) were a nice touch. Location was close to Pere Marquette Beach and plentiful other sites. Oh yeah, and the food at the Cafe... awesome! Will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Muskegon again!
Great stay. Easy access. Cute and stocked with everything I could possibly need. Designated parking spot was fabulous! The smells from the restaurant are amazing and the food does not disappoint! I'm sure I'll stay there again in the future!
The space was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for our time there while my daughter was at her dance competition. Unfortunately the day before we came there was a horrible storm that knocked out the power, not just at the apartment, but also much of the surrounding area (including hotels). The hosts were more than accommodating to the situation and were in consistent contact while we got everything figured out. The diner had great food and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend choosing The Nest.
Fantastic stay in the "nest". Shelly was super helpful and we loved the accommodations. Perfectly located for both downtown and the beach and right above the Lighthouse Cafe, which also gets 5 stars for the delicious breakfast we had in the morning. Ron and Shelly were awesome communicators and super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Muskegon!
Hosts very friendly, cute studio apartment, quiet. Washer/dryer very convenient. Only downside was the lack of more comfortable furniture. Host said they were planning an upgrade. We would definitely stay again.

This cute little place had everything we needed for one night in Muskegon. Everything inside is new and well cared for. The host was easy to communicate with. They own the cafe below as well and treated us to breakfast the next morning for a minor inconvenience which wasn't expected, but very much appreciated. It’s a 7 minute drive to the beach and perfect if you have a furry friend with you- they even leave dog treats! Would stay again!
This was the perfect overnight abode for our family during our trip from Clare to Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon. It's very clear that the apartment was recently renovated to the nines with all the best materials, appliances, bedding, everything. Extremely clean, cute and perfect for our little family's mini-vacation. We got to meet both hosts who were above and beyond friendly and hospitable. They also own the Lakeside cafe beneath the apartment, and we got to have an amazing breakfast there before we drove home. Great location near everything you need, close to Michigan's Adventure, comfy, cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back again!
WOW!! The pictures in the listing don't do this place justice. It is SO nice! When we arrived, the place was super clean, and though it's in town it was quiet inside. A beautiful shower, washer/dryer to clean our travel-dirty clothes, a large room to stretch out in, a small kitchen area with a toaster, microwave, sink, and knives that . . . yes . . . were actually sharp! (I think that was a first for any place we've ever stayed). It was ourselves and our two girls, and this place was such a treat. In the morning, before catching the ferry, we went down to eat at the cafe that is part of the same building. It was SO good, and everyone was so friendly. We felt welcomed, we ate delicious food that wasn't the typical pre-made stuff you get these days, and we received so many smiles that we lost count! This place is special. We'll be staying here again if we are ever coming through! A huge thanks to our hosts!!!!
