"This hotel is in the center of Bern about a 5 minute walk to the train station. We flew into Zurich and took a train to Bern and walked to the hotel. Very easy and convenient. Bern is a very walkable city and also has excellent public transportation so I do not recommend renting a car. Parking is difficult and it is hard to figure out which parking spaces are legal at all times or if you need a parking permit which is region specific. The hotel is nice and offers a great breakfast (especially the beautiful breads). Fresh coffee is available 24 hours a day. In the afternoons they had a self serve bar with a wide variety of wines, beers, cocktail makings and nonalcoholic beverages and with bar snacks which looked nice although we didn't make use of their offerings."

"The hotel is conveniently located near attractions and within walking distance of the train station. We used the hotel as a base to go visit other towns via train- Gruyeres and Thun. Then came back to see the sites and eat in Bern. I would recommend this hotel. "

"I would definitely stay here again. Room is very nice and spacious. View out of the window was great. Breakfast was very expensive but it was good and had a wide selection of food. Once you get up the escalator from the train station, the hotel is right there which was nice since it was raining the day we arrived. "
