"I've traveled for longish-term stays in many different European cities. My month-long experience in Valentina's apartment exceeded all other hosted-rentals and surpassed all of my expectations. The apartment is large and beautiful - housed in a medieval castle at the center of Spoleto's old town, with tall arched ceilngs, a beautiful stone floor, large windows with stately frames that invite light and air into the apartment (when temperatures exceeded 90 outside, the apartment always felt cool and well-ventilated. The kitchen is large and open, and well-appointed. But I have to say the favorite part of my residency in Valentina's apartment were the numerous grace notes - the majestic fireplace, the many illuminated stone nooks and crannies, the tasteful art - all of which left me feeling as if I was living inside a museum. Valentina was also a great host - responsive, committed,and good-humored. Couldn't recommend more highly."

"The apartment was in a great location for visiting Spoleto, it is very clean and tastefully decorated. The apartment also has a washing machine for those longer stays when you may need to wash some clothing. The beds were comfortable, and the area was quite at night allowing for a good night's rest.Hosts Eugenio and Rossella were fantastic! Communicating with them in English was easy and they went beyond the call of duty to make sure our every need was met during our stay in the beautiful town of Spoleto. They gave us a city map, made recommendations for restaurants (which we found to be excellent), and even booked one for us so we could get a discount.If we ever return to Spoleto, I would definitely stay at this apartment again!"

"This was a great experience. The owner was very responsive before-hand and gave us the property manager's (Enrico) contact info. Enrico was great. He met us promptly when we arrived and introduced us to the apartment. The apartment is in the historic center of the city. It was huge and wonderfully appointed. The kitchen had everything you needed. The view out the window was pretty special. We would definitely rent this property again if/when we return to Spoleto. Strongly recommended."
