"Okay stay. Breakfast was decently good for a continental breakfast. Biggest plus was the easy parking on the property and the giant supermarket right next to it. Staff is friendly. Walk to the beach is also just 15 minutes downhill. Convenient and cheap for a one night stay, but super outdated. If the hotel just upgraded their bathrooms it would make a significant difference to the overall feel. Most notably- the shower floor. It is a brown and blue streak color mix tile with brown grout. Looking at it you have no idea if it is clean or not, making using the shower feel quite gross. There is also one liquid provided in the shower- is this shampoo? Body wash? Having actual bottles at the sink and in shower would make it look less like a public bathroom. Bathroom fixtures also don’t seem cleaned well from the limescale. Room itself is ok, clean. No issues there."

"Although, on arrival it felt a little isolated, it became very clear, 10 minutes drive north you're in Frigiliana and 10 minutes south you're in Nerja (you need a car really), unless you enjoy walking. They're are plenty of shops and restaurants in either town, but Nerja also has plenty of big supermarkets, including Aldi and Lidl. The house has all the facilities you need, including a tv with a lot of english channels, it's a clean and bright space. Outdoors is a lovely experience, loads of space, and beautifully kept. There are a number of terraces, and the steps down lead to a fantastic pool area. Very private, with plenty of space to enjoy a bbq. There is also a very sunny roof terrace. It also has plenty of car parking space."

"The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming except for the reception staff who were very abrupt and quite rude. We had contacted the hotel twice prior to our arrival to request a quiet room with a sea view however we did not get a reply and on arrival we were allocated a side sea view room overlooking waste land used as a car park. We were informed that they give priority to guests who book directly with the hotel. Also, we had to return to reception numerous times as our key-card didn’t work despite ensuring that it was kept away from our mobile phones. Our room was quite tired and in need of an upgrade but at least it was clean and the daily housekeeping was excellent. We were AI - the food in the buffet restaurant was quite good with plenty of variety - the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The bar staff were all friendly and efficient too however the all inclusive cocktails were horrible - if you wanted a decent cocktail, they were 10€ each. Evening entertainment was a bit mixed and included singers, karaoke & bingo - so not to everyone’s taste. There are plenty of sun loungers so no need to reserve a bed with a towel (although that still happened around the pool area). The hotel is a 30 mins walk into town or a short bus ride. Would highly recommend visiting the Cueva de Nerja - these caves are absolutely breathtaking and a must see. Overall, we enjoyed our week and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a quiet location."

"This is not a hotel! It's a house with 8 rooms and a kitchen and no staff. You get a passcode to open the front door and an email with your room number. If you are busy with other things while traveling, you will easily miss that. We let ourselves in and found the live in staff (who is only available until mid day) in the back and asked her to check us in. There was no internet so she trusted us to come in. Went to our room, the itself is clean, we made yourselves coffee. I opened a creamer and it was rotten!! There were black objects in the sugar bowl!! Indicative of how much care is given. In terms of getting there, it's quite impossible. There are directions to follow, but if it's your first time driving there, you will never find it. So we had to park in the main city square, take a few essentials and walk them up the hill. The hotel is in a cute little street, but getting there is difficult. When checking out, we mentioned that there are black things in the sugar, and the lady simply said that someone must have put the coffee spoon in the sugar!! Yes, someone must have, but your job is to clean that after they leave. There was less than a foot distance between our door and the other room, so very noisy. People were cooking until midnight on the kitchen, and we could hear them all!! "

"Hébergement dans une maison très typique des villages blancs sur 3 étages avec une terrasse privée au 3ieme avec vue sur le village et les montagnes. Tres agreable pour repas et apéros. Cuisinette bien équipée, salon agréable, chambres correctes mais les lits manquent un peu de confort. Très bien situé au cœur du Village fort joli tout en pentes avec plusieurs bons restos et vues imprenables. Idéal pour un couple de randonneur car il y a de super circuits en partant du village."

"We had a lovely stay. Wonderful peaceful setting but only a short drive to Frigiliana. Nick and Manou were fantastic hosts who couldn't have been more accommodating. We were really appreciative of their offer to buy us groceries due to us arriving on a Sunday. The villa spotless and well equipped. We will be sure to recommend to others!"
