Cozy house on Wilson Lake just outside Muscle Shoals with spacious deck for outdoor dining. Mid-century house set in hillside surrounded by mature trees. Perfect getaway for those seeking a place to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Large dock with 110v electrical, lights and covered boat slip for fishing or ski boat. No beach or shallow water entry or exit; swim ladder access only. Large dock and deep water access to main lake accommodates larger boats up to 35 ft. Public boat ramp 1.5 miles by water. Gas dock and pontoon boat rental available 1 mi away at Steenson Hollow Marina. Paved county roads with light traffic provide opportunities for walks or biking. Minutes to shopping, biking and hiking trails, restaurants, music venues, and RTJ golf course. Dog friendly with $50 fee; sorry no other pets due to allergies.

A visit to Grandma’s House

We loved our stay at Bettie’s Lake House! It was like a visit to my grandparents house growing up! It was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect! The host was very helpful and prepared!

Hidden Gem!

Pictures don’t do this listing justice! We loved spending time on the back patio, listening to the birds and watching ducks and turtles floating along the water. We would definitely stay again!

What an awesome place

This place was everything we wanted in a weekend get away. We got to fish, swim and use their canoe. It is beautiful out there and very quiet and cozy. I will definitely stay again!

Cozy Getaway right on the water!

Property was nestled back in a secluded cove. It was very private and had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to just get away! Thank you for hosting us. We will be back

Good place for fishing!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The only thing was I did noticed that the place doesn’t get cleaned often when it comes to the kitchen and the coffee had mold in it so we didn’t use. Instead we boiled water for coffee. Overall, the place was very comfy and relaxing. We do plan on being back soon 😊 maybe for a longer trip

Convenient, Peaceful Oasis

We were in town for a family event and the schedule was changing. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us. We let the kids have the upstairs and we slept peacefully on the foldout sofa downstairs. The location was near all we needed but it still felt secluded, private and peaceful. Coffee on the back deck, looking out over the river, was a true highlight. We hope to come back again!

Very quaint home in an incredible location on the Tennessee River. 10 minutes to Florence and all the towns around Muscle Shoals. Great place to stay for the Shoalsfest.

Home Away From Home

This was our second stay, and it exceeded expectations again! Troy is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The house is clean, well maintained, and stocked with anything you may need. We will be back for round 3 for sure!!

Quaint lake house on quiet street

We had a wonderful experience at Bettie’s Cottage. It was on a quiet street with a great view of the river. Rafi was a super responsive host.

Excellent!

Perfect get away. Boat shed was down the hill from the house. Easy access for fishing in Wilson Lake. The house felt like being at a family home. Peaceful and relaxing location. Would love to come back.

Cozy Cottage

We were here to fish for a few days. This home gave us a covered boat slip with electric and direct access to lake. It was a very quiet area. The home decor reminds me very much of my home where I grew up which I did not mind. The home was clean with new carpet and flooring. The air conditioners worked well and you could adjust them for the rooms you were in. It had all the basic amenities that we needed. The only item that could be improved on would be the water pressure. For parking we launched the boat, then came back and backed the truck with empty boat trailer in the driveway. The driveway is steep so we placed blocks underneath the tires to make sure it didn’t roll downhill. There is an option to park vehicle with trailer on the shoulder at top of drive if not comfortable with driveway slope which is what we did prior to launching boat. Overall we had a good few days!!

This house felt like home! Everything we needed was there for us. Our fur babies enjoyed playing outside chasing squirrels. We will definitely recommend this cottage to our friends.
