At the entrance to the Kroppacher Schweiz region in beautiful Müschenbach, you’ll find our holiday rental, which was newly renovated in 2023. Spanning 81 m², it combines modernity with cosiness. We offer you an oasis of well-being where you can begin your relaxation right away, free from worries. Our holiday rental is professionally cleaned after every booking, so you’ll always find it spotless—creating the perfect conditions for you to feel right at home.

You can reach our holiday rental on Schulstraße either by car or by bus/train. The rental has two parking spaces located right next to the building. In the spacious driveway, you can enjoy a snack or a drink while sitting at the outdoor seating area.
You’ll reach the holiday rental on the ground floor via the well-maintained staircase. An open landing welcomes you, where you can take off your shoes and hang up your jackets after arriving and after day trips.

In the entryway of the holiday rental, you’ll find a small utility room equipped with a Miele washing machine and a Bosch dryer. Coloured, all-purpose, and wool detergents, as well as limescale remover, are provided and do not need to be brought along.

The holiday rental features two beautiful, light-filled bedrooms. The first bedroom is not only cosy but also features a double bed beneath the skylight. A view of the starry sky is guaranteed on clear nights. From the window, you can look out over Müschenbach, the Müschenbach municipal forest, and the entire Kroppacher Schweiz region. The second bedroom features a double bed and a bunk bed, providing four sleeping spots in this room. In addition to the sleeping arrangements described, the holiday rental offers two optional travel cots for children, ensuring even the youngest guests sleep safely and comfortably.

Our holiday rental also features a modern bathroom. The walk-in rainforest shower promises a unique showering experience. The mirror with built-in lighting enhances the spa-like atmosphere. You can dry and keep warm the provided hand and bath towels (one of each per person per week) on the large radiator. Hand soap and a hair dryer are also among the apartment’s amenities.

The highlight of our holiday rental is the open and modern living and dining area with an open kitchen island. It leaves nothing to be desired. The white kitchen with an integrated bar is a real eye-catcher. It invites you to linger and feel at home. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at the bar with a view of the Müschenbach Forest, or wind down the evening with a glass of wine or beer. There’s something for everyone here. In the kitchen—which we’ve equipped with brand-name appliances, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and more—every meal becomes a delight. Since we provide spices, dish soap, rinse aid, trash bags, coffee filters, tea towels, and paper towels for your stay, you can start your holiday right away. The solid wood table exudes pure cosiness. This is the place to enjoy life. The three large skylights create a light-filled living area where you can relax and let your soul breathe freely. The cosy living room area rounds out the layout. A comfortable sofa and a cosy armchair invite you to linger. In the illuminated cabinets and dressers, you’ll find everything you need—a few classic books to read, some games, toys for children, and much more. Of course, a TV with HD reception is also included. The sofa can be pulled out into a double bed if needed. For our youngest guests, two high chairs can be provided. You have Wi-Fi access throughout the entire apartment. You’re also welcome to connect your devices to the available LAN ports (max. download 200 Mbit/s, max. upload 10 Mbit/s).

Müschenbach is located right on the outskirts of the town of Hachenburg, where you’ll find all the shopping options you need. In addition to a wide selection of supermarkets, drugstores, and pharmacies, you’ll also find all other shops for your daily needs. Wonderful restaurants invite you to go out and linger. Hachenburg also has a cinema. The city park was redesigned just last year. Here, families will find a wonderful, large adventure playground that appeals equally to children of all ages. The Landscape Museum, the indoor-outdoor swimming pool, and various sports facilities such as mini-golf, tennis, etc., round out the recreational offerings.

In Müschenbach itself, you’ll find a bakery (approx. 400 metres away), a drink store, a country inn, and three children’s playgrounds. Müschenbach is an ideal starting point
