NICE clean furnished apartment. Comfortable, spacious with settee and two club chairs, kitchen table for four, desk and chair. Full refrigerator, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Everything was newer. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I booked through Expedia. Great value for the price. Parap is a good safe location. Cafe's, chemist, shops within 2 blocks. Museums, botanical gardens, waterfront accessible by car. Darwin is not that big. If you stay in the CBD those tourist attractions are walkable but it will take all day, and Darwin can get hot. Historical Quantas hanger full of machinery and vehicles is behind the property. "The Hudson" is named after an early CEO of Quantas.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom studio apartment at Ramada Suites by Wyndham Zen Quarter Darwin for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and the room itself was clean and comfortable. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was because the apartment included laundry facilities, so it was disappointing that the washing machine in my room was already damaged prior to my stay and had not been replaced before check-in. Reception did kindly offer to do my laundry, which I appreciated, but I didn’t end up using the service as there were only 2 lifts servicing the entire building, making trips up and down during peak times quite frustrating due to the long waits and also because of my tight schedule and reception is not 24/7. On a positive note, the rooftop bar was lovely with a great atmosphere. Overall, a decent stay with a few inconveniences.
