1 bedroom 1 bath studio home built and decorated by us!
Only 10 minutes form Murray and 20 minutes from the lake. Great for a weekend stay or long term.
Enjoy the peaceful outdoors with a warm cup of coffee on our outdoor patio, watch the fireflies, or spend some downtime in our cozy but large studio style home with a nice reading nook and a large enough couch for 5 to relax. There's a king size bed in the bedroom, room for a guest or two to sleep on the couch and plenty of floor space to bring some blow up mattresses.
Our home is located in a nice neighborhood about 20 minutes from the lake and 10 from Murray, KY.
Our yard and home is very peaceful but it is not a cabin in the middle of nowhere, we do have neighbors. Our nearest neighbors are roughly 75 yards away but share a driveway.

So few things are “as described” but this place is just that. Location is close to town, everything works as intended and it’s a no fuss experience. It’s our go to place when we visit Murray.

Our son stayed here while visiting his girlfriend who attends Murray State. Communication with Host was excellent prior to arrival and during his stay. Son and his girlfriend both said property was clean, cozy and comfortable and the location was great. Definitely recommend and will stay here again on future visits!

Lovely spacious house

I came in for a family funeral and while the reason for my trip was sad, I’m very happy to have found a new home away from home for my future visits to Ky! The home was very clean, well equipped and super roomy. The kitchen and bath had everything you might need for a long term stay. I really loved the privacy and outdoor space. When I asked to extend my stay for an extra night, the host was very quick to respond. Will definitely look forward to staying here again.

We liked our stay as it was close to Murry, great size and a private location. The place needs some fine details. It needs power washed on outside, only has a rain shower head which is hard for women to wash hair and the outside seating is dirty. It has potential to be a great place.

Two couples and a dog

This spacious open floor plan cottage sits back off the road, next to a creek. The grounds are kept up, and the house is clean and tidy. The open floor plan is perfect for everyone to stay together, interact, and have lots of conversation. This was our fifth stay at this property, we really do enjoy it. conveniently located to lots of things around the lakes, not far from the marina or Patti’s, Just a few minutes from Murry. Dollar General just 1/2 mile away for those forgotten items. Looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic Cozy Cabin

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage this Father’s Day weekend. The accommodations were perfect for our needs and we were truly amazed at the amount of space! Traveling with a 17 y/o, an 11 y/o, my husband, myself, and our dog — we all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Even the teen was pleased! ;) The property is absolutely fantastic for location to Murray yet just outside of the town to enjoy the peace of the outdoors. This was my favorite part! We stopped in Murray to visit MSU and enjoyed all the great shops while there. We also went to LBL and enjoyed the outdoor recreation that it offers. My daughter and I also took a little drive to Nashville, TN one day—leaving the guys at home. Aside from the college visit and access to Kentucky Lake, I believe that was her favorite part of the trip! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Jonathan! Stayed two times. Used as stop over on way to Illinois for Thanksgiving and in return. Second trip, worked with owner to change the date as we left day ahead due to weather conditions. We have camped in area so know location of home is accessible to many outdoor locations as well as the town of Murray and its facilities, etc. Nice yard area for our dog. Would stay again.
