Nikobear's Nook-Tiny Cabin/BIG Amenities-King Bed-Secure Porch and Yard for Pups

Escape to the Mountains of beautiful Murphy, North Carolina. A "Tiny Cabin" that is BIG on amenities, "Nikobear's Nook" offers you everything to make your mountain escape memorable. It's quite possibly the only tiny cabin offering a king-size murphy bed plus a double bed in the loft. A fully equipped kitchen with retro styled appliances including a gas stove, microwave, toaster and even an air fryer. A generous supply of spices and cutlery makes meal prep a breeze. Enjoy the custom tile shower with rain head + 8 body jets. A gorgeous electric fireplace provides ambiance and warmth on those cool mountain evenings. Entertainment is provided with a 58" Roku TV to stream your favorite shows and a blue-tooth sound system in the bath.

Perfectly located off Hwy. 19/129, Nikobear's Nook affords easy access to Murphy, NC as well as Blairsville and Blue Ridge, GA. It is a wonderful base station to enjoy all the lovely activities this area provides. Hiking, shopping, dining, rafting, boating venues are all nearby, as is Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino. Even a visit to the quaint Bavarian village of Helen, GA is under an hours drive time through the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

Dogs will love the secure yard. As dog owners ourselves, we know how important it is to have your pets close and safe. We have included gates on the porch access areas designed to keep dogs securely on the porch with easy access to the dog yard area. Please be sure to always completely latch the gates before allowing your dogs to roam the porch. We have also provided a doggie clean-up station for your convenience. Please be sure to pick up after your dog(s). We (and our guests) sincerely thank you for your consideration in this area.

Note that the loft sleeping area is accessed via a ladder and has limited head room. (Approximately 5 feet) so is better suited for younger kids and grown-ups that don't mind climbing up and down a ladder to use the kitchen or bathroom.

The Perfect Little Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay in Phil and Karen’s cabin. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. There were so many amenities for us during our stay. From toothbrushes to firewood for the fire pit. Pretty much anything you could think of, they had. The remotes and everything was labeled to make usage smooth and simple. The Murphy bed was a nice addition to the cabin and it was really cool to see how much space is saved when it’s not in use. We would definitely love to stay here again.
