Very peaceful, clean, and comfortable. We saw several deer and a bobcat. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Host was very nice and responded within mins every time I had a question.
Cozy cabin located in the woods. Beautiful scenery. Very clean. We loved sitting out by the fire at night and the older children enjoyed walking down to the river to fish. The river access point does not seem to be a spot for young ones to be as it’s a little steep and it wouldn’t be hard to slip right into the river. I myself almost felt like I was going in at one incident because I lost my footing. Bring your own easy to make meals as the cabin doesn’t have an actual stove/oven and is a little crammed, not a big deal but is good to know. Overall wonderful and beautiful trip, we would stay there again. I hope this helps.
We enjoyed the location. Was close to everything we wanted to visit but still was able to enjoy our privacy. Every night we looked forward to seeing the 2 rabbits and deer. Very quiet and was perfect.
It was hard to find on google maps, I recommend using Apple Maps. Access to the river was quite the walk down a steep drive way, then you have to walk back up, unless you drive. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything you need. It was loud due to the air conditioning window unit and fridge. There is no stove, so you can’t cook. There is a toaster oven, air fryer and microwave though. Pam, the host was very attentive and helpful.
We loved staying at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed. There is a an air fryer, a toaster oven, and a microwave so you can cook pretty much anything you need to. There is also a charcoal grill, but we did not use it. The location is spectacular. It is definitely of the beaten path, but the seclusion was just what we were looking for to relax. Google maps will not get you to the cabin, but the host lets you know this ahead of time and sends a map to help you find the cabin. Plus she has installed orange signs to help you find it. The screened porch was terrific. We drank our coffee out there every morning. It was so peaceful. It is close to Crater of Diamonds, if you plan on going there. Also about an hour away is Wegner Crystal mines. We found a lot of cool crystals there and had fun doing it.We would definitely stay here again. My wife commented several times that if we lived closer, we would stay here often.
The first view of the cabin with the American Flag and the fairy lights, was just magical. The screened in porch and the cabin were decorated so tastefully and it immediately felt very cozy, like home. Everything you could possibly need was provided, even things we didn't think to need, the host thought of everything. The host responded within 15 minutes any time I messaged. It was just a really nice place to stay. We will definitely return each year, as long as it stays available to rent.
Absolutely adorable property! My son and I had a wonderful day here. He loved running through the woods. We enjoyed the town. The hosts were absolutely amazing including shipping something that my son left behind. Above and beyond! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
Our stay was great! The cabin was very secluded and peaceful, but only minutes away from downtown Murfreesboro. It also had access (loose stone path) to a new deck and stairs that went down to the river. Note if it is slick, 4wd is necessary to drive down to the deck then back up to the cabin. The cabin was cozy and had most everything we needed to make basic meals. The best was the screened in porch that we used every morning to listen to birds, wildlife or have total silence without worrying about annoying bugs.
The cabin was very nice. Had everything we needed. The Host was very nice to let us check in early. Communication with her was Awesome! She was fast to reply to all our questions. We will definitely share info of this cabin to family and friends.
I booked this property for my wife and myself for a little anniversary getaway knowing that a trip to Crater of the Diamonds (which is only 12ish minutes away from this property) has always been a bucket list visit for her.
This property is 1000% as described but was even better in person!! The peace and tranquility that we experienced here was exactly what we needed. It’s not located in a compound with 10 other cabins and other people bustling around. You get to enjoy complete peacefulness. Access to the Little Missouri is just a short walk (45sec in a 4wd truck) away. We even brought our kayaks.
My only complaint is that we don’t live closer to this place otherwise we’d be going often to just getaway.
We will for sure be going back though.
Pam was great, very attentive!Everything a person could want is there. Not in listing is airfryer/oven small of course, and a toaster oven. All the pots, pans and utensils, plates, glasses, mugs, you could want or need, also a hot plate. The bed was very comfy, as was the sofa bed.It is a very comfortable, and cute cabin that feels bigger than it is. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the hammocks were very nice. The water would get nice and hot and had good pressure. It is not far from town yet feels like you're by yourself, very peaceful and dark at night. We also enjoyed crater of diamonds state park which was only about 15 min away. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is remote and secluded. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was decorated just as you would expect a cabin should be.
