Lovely Cabin in secluded private 365 acre Lake stocked with Catfish, Crappie and Bass.

Main cabin includes large loft bedroom with king size bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. Great room with 20 foot ceiling. Rustic Lake decor. Great room has futon couch and futon chairs. Mini split AC/Heat. Separate Bunkie sleeps 2 with AC/Heat. Great back porch overlooking large waterfront lot with private pier and seating area. Outdoor Gas Grill. Separate common area with large fire pit (initial fire wood provided) overlooking the water.

10 minutes from Ben Wheeler and Edom. 22 miles from Canton and Canton Trade Days on 1st Monday weekends. 80 minutes from downtown Dallas.

Canoe, Kayaks, life jackets available at no charge to use at your own risk.

Maximum occupancy - 4. Maximum automobile accommodations - 3. No fire arms or guns of any kind or fireworks is allowed.

Perfectly Relaxing

I spent a fantastic weekend staying here! The cottage is adorable and very comfortable. All I wanted was to sit on the pier, read, and relax and this was the perfect place to do it. I highly recommend everything about this place for anyone who wants to get away and unwind!

This is the perfect spot to just relax and get rid of all of your anxiety. The beautiful views and near by small towns are exactly what is needed to hit that restart button. My husband and I wanted a little get away out of the city to enjoy each other for our 30th wedding anniversary. This lake house is so cozy. We got to do a lot of fishing which we love to do. The house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay, the only complaint is it wasn't long enough. Charlie was so helpful and kind. I loved that they don't charge for the kayaks and canoes The house is in a gated community. But you are not on top of others. I wish i could have enjoyed the fire pit they started for us more. We will be back hopefully really soon. Thank you guys so much!!! If you decide to stay hear you won't regret it. You will really enjoy this property!

Peace & Quiet on the Lake

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and their place is very well done, including little touches all over the place that made our stay even more enjoyable. There’s a dock on the lake for sitting and chilling, and there’s also a porch that you can sit on just outside the house for doing the same thing. The inside was done very tastefully and includes everything you need to enjoy the weekend — including a full kitchen and bathroom and a very comfortable living room with a smart TV if you want to watch movies together. The upstairs loft has a king size bed that is comfortable and stays cool with the ceiling fan over the bed and a very adequate air conditioning unit below in the living room. This place also has a cute little separate bedroom if you plan on having another couple in town on the lake with you. The owners also have a fire pit with wood to use if you want to sit by the fire and they have kayaks and a canoe and things to float on in the water if you’re interested in that. My wife and I will definitely try to get back again and recommend it for anyone who is just looking for a quiet getaway alone or perhaps with another couple.

Our only regret is that we didn’t book for a longer period of time! Loved the cabin and the hosts. Very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Close enough to Canton for Trade Days but far enough out to not be in the ongoing crowds. We want to come back soon!

Girl trip to Canton!

How lucky we fell to find this hidden little gem so close to Canton Trade Days! The accommodations were lovely and on a lake. Not only did we have a lake view, but a dock as well, to enjoy our complimentary wine and cheese. Eric and Charlie were superb hosts, and even took us on a evening boat ride. We are already making plans to return and stay in this quite, quaint cabin! We would give this 10 stars if possible!! Thank you again Charlie and Eric! Your OK new friends , Sheryl, Janice and Claire
