The room (number 8) required ascending a very steep stair case (with handrails), crossing the roof in the open, descending a steel set of steps in the open (handrail provided), ascending narrow winding steps with NO handrail (internal) - dangerous even for mobility-free guests.

We booked two rooms for four nights. The hotel is very centrally located, close to the cathedral and the restaurant district.
The rooms are brilliant, beds super comfy, toiletries provided lovely. Not cheap but worth every cent

From the moment we arrived the friendliness of the staff at this hotel paved the way for a lovely visit. This boutique hotel is located within easy walking distance from the railway station and has incorporated modern facilities into a very quaint old building. The restaurant and bar downstairs added to the convenience. We arrived on a weekend when the town was celebrating an annual occasion and as such there was quite a bit of street noise. Very well designed hotel in new part of town. The area has a lot of promise with a few places to eat nearby and great supermarket but you will still need to walk into old part of town for action (15 min, nice walk if cross rail bridge and walk along canal).
