I am confused. Room had a shower, but there was no way to turn the shower on. Other than that, location was good. Have golden corral right next door and steak place across the street. Room was clean, bed was firm.

It had a nice view of a cemetery and has a Golden Coral next door. The "disco" lights outside were a nice touch and the front desk guy at night was nice, but thats where ill leave it at. This Red Roof was much "different" than all the others we've stayed at.

The gentleman who checked me in was extremely nice. This is probably the best red roof I’ve stayed in. Rooms were clean and surprisingly had no odor. I stayed at a different property a few weeks ago, and they really had me 2nd guessing if I should book with this property. Overall tonight’s experience reset my opinion on Red Roof. I am high satisfied with my choice in stay tonight.

Rented 2 rooms total, but still ended up sharing one of the rooms between the two guests. One of them was in good condition and the staff at the front desk were great to work with due to travel needs - which is why the rating is still a two star. The rooms were a bit outdated, but that’s workable. However, the other room wasn’t cleaned at all. There was dirt all around the walls, the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower had hair in and around the tub/surround, and the sheets had stains on them.

I’ll start by saying I’m VERY easy to please with hotels. I understood booking a smaller hotel in a smaller town wouldn’t be a luxury experience, however this hotel may be one of the worst I’ve stayed at. During my stay there was some construction or renovations happening, that’s not their fault but upon check in there was a sizable leak in the front room. Pros: - Cheap - Bed was decent and I slept well - staff at check in was friendly Cons: - 2/3 of my lamps didn’t work - cracks in ceiling - molding in the bathroom was peeled off. - tub/shower wasn’t clean - towels had black marks on them and folded as new. One towel was torn and frayed like a cat - Wi-Fi was spotty there like 7 networks for the hotel (also wasn’t given password upon check in) - shampoo/soap provided was the barest quality. It honestly seems like the bare minimum is provided to guests and the turn over service is lacking the basics of a hotel. Won’t be staying here again
