Super fast check-in and check-out. Super friendly owner. Old facility but clean room. Excellent location. Two minute walk to the RSL Club with very good restaurants. Old AC needs replacing though. The noise was quite disruptive at night which wasn't good as we were going on an all-day drive next morning.

Nice views! Pool looked amazing! There’s a barbecue available to save you from having to go anywhere for a meal, the staff were really pleasant

It was a single story U shape with lovely pull area in the middle and a lovely view of Lake Mulwala from the chairs and tables outside every room. Rooms were lovely and clean, great water pressure and good hot water in shower. We would definitely stay there again.

Was quiet, however not impressed with home re-filled glass bottles of Milk, no idea as to how well they would have been cleaned between use. Bed was shocking, springs worn out in the middle so kept rolling into the sagged position.

The Reusable glass bottles of fresh milk are more environmentally friendly than throw away containers of UHT long life milk. I can assure you they are washed at a high temperature in a dishwasher and then sterilized before being used. If you are able to advise us which room you stayed in I can assess the quality of the bed in this room as we rarely have any complaints in regards to our beds.

Conveniently tranquil Mulwala surprise.
Capricorn units are brilliantly sited overlooking the lake. Quiet and comfortable. A little dated but that is reflected in the tariff.A little hidden gem.

Fairly classic traditional hotel, who have worked to improve the room décor through the bedding so it looked nice (the bed was comfortable). It was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. I couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, which apparently was due to a switch being off near the bed (perhaps something to add to FAQs??) Nice outlook near the pool.

Air Conditioner heat cycle didn't work well. -2 Celsius in the morning. Not much warmer in the room. Rooms & En-suites need a thorough re-furbishment. Position is fine, walk to the club. Wi Fi was non existent. Overall, below par for us.

Hi Colin, Sorry to hear your disappointment with the heating, it may have been on the wrong setting as I can assure you that they all work perfectly. If you had come and seen us we would have been more than happy to assist. In regards to the WiFi we have only had the NBN Connected to our property today (8th August) finally giving us a decent broadband speed which has been out of our control until now and we are currently in the process of installing a new Wifi System in place to improve for all guests.

Capricorn hotel was perfect for our overnight stay for two . Clean & comfortable , bright & fresh overlooking very clean sparkling pool ! Only downfall was maybe hard to watch tv from table & chairs being situated under TV & then unless laying on the bed it was hard to prop yourself up with bed head but too see ,these are only small things compared to overall view . Also would have been nice to have a shelf to place things on in bathroom. But a very pleasant experience & would return ,value for money .
