Stone fronted detached cottage just over 2 miles from Mulranny village
This beautifully designed stone fronted, detached country cottage with 3 bedrooms is located two and a half miles from Mulranny village and has stunning views of Croagh Patrick and over Clew Bay with all its islands to the front. From the rear of the house there are panoramic views of the Wild Nephin Range. It is a short cycle to access the Great Western Greenway. This lovely home has been very comfortably furnished to a high standard and has a warm and homely feeling with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is situated on an elevated secluded site with its own private driveway. This is the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a relaxing luxury holiday, with a choice of beaches including blue flag and a nine hole golf links (each just a mile and a half away). Achill Island with its beautiful beaches and scenery is just a short drive along the Wild Atlantic Way. A black and white tiled porch leads into a spacious hallway and onto a large fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining room with gas hob, electric ovens and an efficient cooking/heating oil fired range. There is also a walk in larder. The kitchen leads to a separate utility room with sink, washer/dryer machine and microwave. French doors lead from the dining area to a stone paved patio with outdoor seating, where you can sit and enjoy stunning views over Clew Bay. There is a separate sitting room with cosy comfortable couches and armchairs, along with an open fire, TV and a selection of books to enjoy at your leisure. The first double bedroom is on the ground floor and is adjacent to a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin. The other two bedrooms are located upstairs. The first is a master king bedroom with ensuite shower and walk-in wardrobe. The second is a family bedroom consisting of a double and single bed and this is adjacent to a family bathroom with a freestanding bath, toilet and wash hand basin. There is a hotpress with extra linen and towels and an immersion switch for heating hot water as required.
