Great host and wonderful property! The space was well laid out and very comfortable. The host was very communicative and easy to book with. Would 100% stay again!
We had a family event in Mullan and enjoyed this place to get together with all of our adult kids. Accomodated eveyone well. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings with a little fire and played cards for hours. The new a/c units were a nice surprise. It stayed very comfortable on both levels even with the 90+ daytime highs.
The Mullan Hunter house was a peaceful getaway for our small family reunion. The beds in each room were very comfortable. The fans and room air conditioners allowed us to cool the whole upstairs bedroom area in a decent amount of time after our evening arrival on a hot day. The living area accommodated all 8 of us comfortably for meals, games, and movie time. The BBQ outside, the fire pit, and patio made a great peaceful spot for morning coffee, meal prep, and evening chats and stories. The kitchen was decently stocked with tools, the laundry area had everything we needed, and the bathrooms and linens were also well supplied.
We always felt safe. The town was peaceful and enjoyable. The locals were quiet and polite. The bar a few doors down did bring some weekend commotion, but nothing bothersome or concerning.
Overall, we have recommended this rental to friends that live in the area and would consider staying here again.
Perfect place to stay to ride The Hiawatha!! exactly as pictured and the perfect combo of quirky and comfortable and we loved it! also nice outdoor space with plenty of space to work on bikes etc. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone and comfortable beds! we would definitely stay again, thank you for sharing your cozy place!
House was very unique! An old storefront on the ground floor that was remodeled into a living room/kitchen. Open plan on ground floor. Located right in the heart of Mullan. Good property for groups.
The property was spacious, centrally located to Trail of the Hiawatha and several lake hikes. Also the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.
Nice outside patio with chiminea to sit around in the evenings or mornings.
Very enjoyable place to stay with nice living room area and dining room.
All the comforts of home.
This is kind of like a fun frat house. It has been outfitted with nice appliances and conducive for games, relaxing after active days out on the mountain. It is fun.
Didn’t spend a lot of time indoors due to being there for family reunion. Was nice and comfortable down stars for a Summer visit. Upstairs was not tolerated with heat. Cooled off a night. Beds are amazing! Maybe a mini split would help with cooling in summer and heating in winter instead of using plug in heaters upstairs. Loved the lay out, the games, and patio. Would definitely stay again. Mullah was good to us!
Unique home with lots of space. Great central location for outdoor activities at a reasonable price!! Jake was excellent to work with, very responsive and knowledgeable about the area
Clean spacious, enjoyed outside seating area and fire place with grill, great kitchen and spacious living room provide a lot of room to connect with hangout with family each evening after off-roading with Jeep Jamboree.
We really enjoyed our stay. The large kitchen worked well for our group of 8. The beds were very comfortable and an outdoor fire on the patio was a great way to end a day of exploring. Beautiful area!
We stayed here just for a night as we were passing through town (coming and going, so two nights total) and found it was the perfect pitstop for our family. Its design is very unique (part of its charm), and it was tastefully decorated in a rustic, cabin / coffeeshop vibe. Most rooms are fairly large, beds are comfortable, and all the bathrooms are nice. Our five kids loved playing "Coffeeshop" (haha) and there's a small playground across the street that was perfect for them.
A couple minor complaints: The icemaker in the fridge doesn't work and we couldn't find any ice trays. There is a bar (I think?) just down the road and there was a lot of yelling/cursing outside late at night on both nights we stayed there. And our biggest complaint is that the house was soooooo cold when we arrived. Both days that we visited were fairly cold days and it took FOREVER to get the house warmed up. The bedroom heaters worked quickly, but the main living area was fairly cold for quite some time unless you sat right in front of the fireplace. (We also couldn't get the heat working in one of the bedrooms.) That was a little disappointing; it would have been nice to have the house at least warmed up to a comfortable temp, knowing that there would be guests arriving soon.
All in all, though, this is a delightful place for a family to stay and we would definitely consider staying again!
We really enjoyed this property. Perfect location, plenty of room, and quirky yet functional remodeled coffee shop. Next to a great bar with awesome people and tasty burgers. A lovely community!
Great stay with friends and family over Christmas break. Love the wood stove and close proximity to the ski resort. Nice open concept for entertaining friends and enjoying family time.
Loved staying at this charming mountain escape. A lot more room than I had imagined which was really lovely. It’s a plus that it’s only about 30ft from a cool restaurant and bar. Will be coming back for sure,
