"We loved our stay at this charming old-school boathouse/cabin. It was cozy, simple, and had such a welcoming feel. While it is not a luxurious property, it was exactly the kind of peaceful getaway we were looking for. The beautiful lake setting made it a wonderful place to relax and reset. One thing we especially appreciated was that we felt genuinely welcome. There was not a long list of rules and instructions, which made the stay feel relaxed and comfortable rather than restrictive. The cabin was clean and felt comfortable, though there were a few small imperfections in the cleaning that did not take away from our enjoyment. Overall, it felt well cared for and inviting. We truly felt welcome and appreciated the character and charm of the place. We would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy retreat on the lake."
"We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Cross Lake/Pine City. It was everything we wanted for a relaxing, cozy time. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ grill. We would recommend this place!"
"This cabin was perfect for us. This tiny little gem tucked in between the "Cabmansions". We loved everything about it. The sleeping porch was delightful, the area was so quiet and peaceful. We got to hear Loons for the first time. Our 2nd day was windy and cool, but it made for a good day to explore the area and visit antique shops and local restaurants. We enjoyed Rafferty's Pizza and breakfast at The Pine Restaurant (we even bought a Loon print). You really are just a few feet from the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock with a cup of tea in the evening. The history of the cabin is interesting and it was fun to find the carved names dating back to the 1930's on the main beam in the cabin. We would have liked to have a fire, it was cool enough, but much too windy to chance it. we'll save that for next time. The sunset on the lake is beautiful and the lake itself is so clear. We didn't fish this time, we'll also plan on that next time as well. And we'll bring our eBikes because there are amazing paved trails around Gull Lake (just a few miles away)"
