"This cabin was everything we wanted in our little getaway. It's very private and wooded. There's a full kitchen and a firepit outside, plus laundry, a fireplace, and smart TVs. The bed was SO comfy, it has me thinking about replacing my mattress! Because it's seculded, you have to drive 10-20 minutes to have some options for food and groceries. That wasn't an issue for us, though! Everything was very clean and communication was clear the whole time. Carlyle lake is 15-20 minutes away, depending on what beach you go to. Our 85-lb pup loved it as well. He tried to befriend a cat that came out of the woods, got to smell lots of new smells, and loved the cozy couch inside. There are poo bags available and hangers for leashes/keys! They really thought of everything here. We will absolutely be coming back!"

"The rooms are very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was great, and the restaurant was excellent. Easy parking right in front of the door."

"We were in town for a reunion and this was a cute off the beaten path place. Nice and quite in the middke of nature. Our only issue was the fact the two bedrooms uostairs dont have doors, so you could easily hear our friends snore."

"The hotel has been refurbished from top to bottom. It’s a beautiful historic building. The owners were meticulous in keeping the history of the hotel and adding all the modern conveniences. The room was relaxing and had wonderful amenities. Microwave, fridge, coffee machine, tea, and sweet treats. They use local vendor products from businesses in Hillsboro. The restuarant/pub serves delicious meals and a fun spot to socialize. I would definitely recommend staying here. The location is in the heart of Hillsboro which is a small, friendly community "

"We stayed at the Nest for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is secluded and quiet for a relaxing time at the lake. The house is well stocked with items you would need for a vacation as well as having ample outdoor activities on site available for use. The lake is very calm and, during our stay, was not very trafficked. Coach was prompt as the property manager with any questions or needs. "
