"We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. Everything is lush and green, no crowds and a discounted price. In terms of the lodge, we cannot give enough praise. The lodge itself and the rooms are beautiful and absolutely wonderful.
