The lady who welcomed us in the reception spoke English and German, one lady in the restaurant spoke German - but the others we met seemed to panic by the language challenge. Our room was huge, had a comfortable bed (but strange pillows) and a big balcony (sad view apart from the beautiful sunset). Plus the fact they couldn’t locate my Expedia reservation check in took well over half an hour.
