"Ich hatte schöne Tage als Alleinreisender im Raum Arnstadt und bin im Hotel Goldene Sonne für fünf Tage gut untergekommen. Der Inhaber als auch die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hatten für die Umgebung immer einen Tipp parat. Für den aufgerufenen Preis fand ich das Hotel hervorragend. "Lovely stay in this cosy hotel. The pool and breakfast in neighboring spa/hotel was also wonderful. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was a bit outdated and it would be wonderful if the room came with AC or at least a fan. It can get quite hot in the summer. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel."

At minimum better beds than two separate ones for parents + sofa bed for the kids. The parent’s bed had some weird hospital like rubber cover under the linen, making a very uncomfortable sleep. "Die „Villa“ liegt auf dem Grundstück des Konsum Hotels. Man ist gezwungen je Nacht 18€ Parkgebühren zu entrichten, da es in Oberhof Folklore ist jedes Grundstück abzusperren. Freie Parkplätze gibt es daher nicht. Das Zimmer war ok. In der 2. Nacht war allerdings kein Strom da. Ab 20 Uhr gibt es kein Personal mehr auf der Anlage. Also musste der Schein des Fernsehers reichen. Der ging noch. "
