"We met the owner on our arrival, a very nice, 72 y.o. respecful woman. Later, when in the elevator, going up from the garage to 2nd floor, myself, wife, the large dolly with luggage and then extra luggage, the elevator was intercepted at the first floor by someone. No problem. The door opened at the first floor, there was a nice gentleman waiting to get in, saw that it was way too crowded, smiled and said he'd take the stairs. No problem. There was the owners husband standing right behind him, and he BARKED "is there a problem here?" with an extremely rude and angry attitude. He glared at me, I said "no?" and went on up to the next floor. My wife and I then exchanged looks like "did you just see that?" We are in our seventies and I don't think we look THAT criminal-like... I don't know what his problem was but it sure put a nasty taste in our mouth for an otherwise wonderful getaway. She was great, he needs to retire!"

"This cabin was perfect in every way! The location is walking distance to everything in Summerhaven but it's tucked away enough so that you have your privacy and can enjoy the peace and quite and fresh mountain air. The kitchen is huge and perfect for larger groups. The outdoor patio is great for enjoying the cool mountain days and nights. The blackstone along with separate propane grill worked out perfectly for us as well. The hosts are responsive and very kind. We couldn't have asked for anything more."

"The area is truly breath taking and so relaxing. We enjoyed the drive and then walking around the area. Mid week is quiet. The cabin location was good. Parking behind the cabin was roomy. The bathroom was very functional with travel size soap and shampoo, and four bath towels. Storage for personal items was abundant for two. Hanging rod and drawers. Kitchen had the basic serviceware for four. Reservation process was easy. Timely and informative communication. We enjoyed our one night stay. Things to know, not necessarily negative. Be prepared for limited hours or closures of stores during week. Firm bed. Plastic wine glasses. Very small coffee pot and one coffee packet. Cabins are very close together."
