Disliked: Cleanliness
Great Location, but the details leave something to be desired.
I stayed here for a week while snowboarding at Timberline & Mt. Hood Meadows.
The Good:
- The condo is easy to get to in Government Camp, and there is plenty of space for at least a 3-4 person family if not more.
- The TV has all of the streaming services you'd want, and the couch is comfy.
- The kitchen is fairly well appointed, and the bunk beds are a hit with kids.
- It's a niche bonus, but the wax room is a huge plus for those that like to wax their own gear.
The Bad:
- There were several broken items throughout the place (multiple blinds, the jacuzzi tub, toilet paper holder in bathroom, cupboard door, closet door, game table); the toilet paper holder and closet door meant my young child could not use that bathroom or the bedroom with the broken closet door.
- There were tons of tiny flying bugs in the master bedroom that meant that spending any time in there with the lights on meant that they'd be landing on you while you're in bed or in the non-working jacuzzi tub (I ended up killing 50+ in the first two nights).
- Even though i brought these issues to their attention in the first 24 hours, the property management folks didn't attempt to address any of these issues until after my stay was over.
Good to know:
- The parking garage has low clearance, so if you're carrying bikes on top of your car you'll have to park outside.
- The public pool & hot tub are about a 5 minute walk from the room; fine in the summer but freezing in the winter.
