Mowhanau Beach Tours and Activities

Spotlessly clean but a bit dated and run down. Fantastic shower, lots of fluffy towels. Excellent heat pump. We were there for one night, just passing through, so the indoor mini golf, bowling and arcade next door was super handy to kill time in the evening (don’t worry you can’t hear anything from the motel). I found the beds quite old and uncomfortable (you know when they are so bouncy it wakes you up) but I might be extra fussy in that regard.

The hotel was well presented, I was allowed early check in at about 12:30pm. The restaurant makes great coffee, I had a few and they were all very good. The rooms were tidy, clean and spacious. They also had very comfortable beds and a range of 4 different pillows to choose from, which was great. The bathroom is a little dated but very clean and tidy and in good overall condition. This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to almost everything in the CBD and waterfront.
