It's only 10 min from town square, super friendly staff, very reasonably priced with a laid back vacation feel. It's not brand new and shiny and thats ok by me. Right on the river, we loved it!
We have stayed at Jack’s for many years. Every time is an excellent experience. They have the nicest staff. The cleaning crew is wonderful. And the guys on the dock help you anyway they can.
Easy check in, quiet location overlooking the white River.
Stove and full kitchen! Worth what we paid for sure!

The bathroom was dirty. Had used soap on the sink. The beds were so hard it made it difficult to sleep. Staff was amazing! I will definitely stay here again.

We came to view the eclipse & it was the perfect location! Really enjoyed being on the river! Great fishing, facilities & restaurant! Super nice staff! Clean rooms! Excellent trip!
We had a great stay! Definitely outdated but in a familiar, cozy way. Like visiting your grandmas house. Everyone was friendly. It was quiet. Great spot! We’ll definitely be back!
Had a great time! We had an upstairs room with a Gorgeous view of the river. Hit showers, clean rooms. Not terribly updated. But rooms are large, clean, and have everything you need. We especially enjoyed the full size coffee maker. We will for sure be back.
We had a wonderful stay at Jacks. Room was clean, screened in porch was so nice to sit and drink coffee in the morning while looking out at the mountains and white river. All of the staff were very friendly, housekeeping was great. The food at Jojos was wonderful. Overall a great stay at Jacks. We were there for some r&r and did not fish. The drive to town was not far to listen to music in the park and on the square. Jacks was so peaceful and quiet.

Good - but needs new beds!
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Jack's. It would have been 3 nights but the bed was absolutely awful. We couldn't take another night on that mattress. Overall, it is a wonderful place to bring the kids and have a good time....it just needs new mattresses! The restaurant is great!
Room was basic but clean. The only problem was the noise from the rooms next door. The adjoining room doors are very thin and we could hear every word said in the next room.

Very rustic. Our room had mini blinds but didn’t have curtains. Not a deal breaker but for privacy and a break from outside lighting, it would have helped. Overall, very clean and extremely easy to check in. Love JoJo’s right on the property.
When we booked, the info showed that we would have a river view. This was not the case and was very disappointing for us. The river view from the back porch was the #1 reason why we booked this place. Still a good stay, but there needs be a clear distinction on the booking site between a river view room and a non-river view room.

We made a last minute trip from Austin, TX to Mountain View, AR for clear skies for the eclipse. Had no idea what this place would be like. I think we got the last two rooms. It’s a well maintained, lovely spot along the White River. The check in was easy, even arriving at midnight. We communicated with the owners, and they arranged for us to get the keys. We met people from all over, many regulars who come to fish and enjoy the beautiful Ozarks. Everyone there was friendly. Our stay was very relaxed and comfortable. We’re already thinking of returning to enjoy the cultural and natural sites of the area.

Had to ask for bedding for the pull out. The heat emitted lots of smoke when we turned the unit on. The AC was extremely noisy kine a loose belt. It did cool very well. The bed was comfortable. Lots of fast hot water. Essentials were met. No hair dryer. It served its purpose and the river behind the unit was lovely. The view of the hills and the trees all changing colors. There was a glider you could sit on the high bank to watch the river. We saw a large bald eagle. Jo jo’s Catfish on site is always an added bonus. They were extremely busy being Bean Fest weekend, but seemed to handle the folks in a friendly, timely manner. Walls in unit were very thin and you could hear people like they were in the next room. A really good price foe the location and services provided. The unit will have to have heat checked out before use.
Just a great place. Quiet, clean and a great restaurant. Would definitely stay there again. It was plain and simple. The only off thing was the bathroom was small
