"This was our second time here, and I'm convinced it is the best resort in Belize. We traveled with friends who were equally in love with Sweet Songs by the end of their stay. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say about this property. The food, views, staff, area, were all incredible. "

"Couldn't say enough great things about this place! It is truly a jungle paradise! The property is located on a huge piece of land overlooking the river, exceptionally well maintained, with exotic flowers everywhere, the peaceful views on the river with nothing but the birds as background, the hiking trails, everything is just wonderful! The room was very nice, rustic, and cool, with the fireplace as a very nice touch - it was a bit chilly in the evenings and we really enjoyed lighting the fire :). They also have a vegetable and fruit garden, which they use for the restaurant meals. The food was great - they have a Dinner special menu that's different every night and it was very good! And also very reasonably priced. But most of all, it is truly the people that made the stay exceptional, everyone, from the reception to the gardener to the restaurant and bar staff to the random worker we'd meet while exploring the property grounds were just so nice and kind! All in all, it exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay between adventures in the area."

"It’s a beautiful property and the staff made every effort to make our stay super comfortable, warm, and relaxing. "This Belize jungle eco property is truly extraordinary. Surrounded by lush, vibrant rainforest, it offered the perfect balance of comfort, sustainability, and adventure. The howler monkeys sounded just like Jurassic Park. For sure take the pontoon boat ride!!! Walter, the host, was exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and made us feel genuinely cared for when we had some car trouble. This was truly an experience we’ll never forget. Highly, highly recommended!"

"I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."
