"We visited to watch the eclipse and found the perfect spot for that, but loved the house and its location. Had hoped we could walk into town but not the easiest road. Didn't really matter. Calico Rock is a great town to visit. Great community, lovely people and shops, cafe, bar. Beautiful countryside surrounds it with good walks not far away. Just could have done with a few bits of instructions for the cooker for example, but Steven was very responsive when we messaged him. Hot tub didn't get...

"The setting was beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. The cabin was plenty big for us with a huge porch for relaxing. Anything we needed was provided. Mike and Sherry were very welcoming and if we needed anything, they were on top of it. 2 lovely docks down at the lake and lots of walking trails. It’s like being in your own state park. They even have eagles. So awesome!"

"Good location for fishing with so many choices. Adequate stores. Bait shop across street, package store nearby, Dollar General close by. If you forgot it, they have it. I think it’s a great location to trout fish the Norfork River, White River or bass fish Lake Norfork about 5 miles away. Fisherman’s paradise. Enjoyed my stay with my son very much."

"Most times, when you check into a property you're a little disappointed. This definitely wasn't the case here! The place was newly remodeled while keeping the best touches of the historical older cabin. Lots of sleeping room, comfy beds and the entire place was beautifully and thoughtfully equipped. We were a short walk from the lakeshore and the marina across the lake happily picked us up to rent a boat! We came for the eclipse but had such a great time that we will come back for the lake and...

"Good cabin. Expected it to be slightly more removed from other people, and it ended up being in a large plot sub-division type place. No fault of the listing, just the nature of it. Nearest neighborhood had conjoining back yard maybe 90 feet away. However at this season there was little to no interaction. Cabin was well stocked for cooking on site (dishes/pots&pans). Beds slept comfortably."
