The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. Loose insulation, cracks in the ceiling, and tiny pieces of stone/tile on the shower floor were just some of the things noticed. Secondly, please do not advertise a space as pet friendly when you yourself have an unsupervised pet that has access to the same yard as your guests. Not all dogs greet each other kindly and it would benefit all involved if that could be avoided entirely. Third, please include information on just how close the building is to the main residence. We brought pets who would need to be left in crates for a short time when we left at one point. Our dogs can be a bit loud when first crated and so we usually try to pick a place that isn’t too close to other residences so as to not bother anyone if they continue to be loud. All in all, this spot has the potential at being a great location with a little effort and some fine tuning on its description and current state.
