We absolutely loved our stay at Frog Cottages. Hosts were welcoming, cottage clean and tidy. We were able to relax and enjoy a good break from outside stresses. Thank you
A very relaxing stay at this accomodation. The hosts are exceptional, the surrounds spacious and tranquil and the rooms clean, comfortable and cosy. I'd happily book in again when next in Mansfield.

Great stay, hosts were lovely. Really enjoyed the fresh homemade bread form the hosts and their homemade jams and marmalades; yum! Strawbale walls gives a lovely feel, quiet and cosy.
A unique, cosy, comfy cottage in a great spot. Maggie and Dave are fabulous hosts. The heater was on for our arrival and we were greeted with a freshly baked loaf of bread, jams, freshly ground coffee, fruit bowl, half-dozen eggs, cereals, with home-baked muffins provided another morning
Lovely cottage, beautiful view, excellent hospitality with ample breakfast supplies and hot freshly baked muffins delivered in the morning at a time to suit the guest. Maggie and Dave go above and beyond for their guests.
The landlords are very lovely and accomodsting people. They have breakfast for you and turn the heat on for you. They also have DVDs and biard games, and hot waterbottles. A lovely little cabin. Thank you for our stay.
Had a lovely time at Frogsong, we were very well looked after, Maggie went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, delicious hot muffins delivered for breakfast, there was also beautiful home-made bread, jams and cereals at your disposal. Definitely couldn't go hungry 😋.
Proprty was in a lovely quiet location. Host Maggie supplied homemade treats as part ot the deal. There was a jar of homemade biscuits, a loaf of homemade bread and one morning she delivered some steaming hot and delicious berry muffins.

It started with meeting the hosts. They were so helpful and showed us around the property and then to our accomodation which was ideal for us. They explained to us what sights were around and nothing was to much trouble for them. I would recommend the strawbale cottages to anyone.
A beautiful place with welcoming, caring hosts. Truely amazing. Maggie greeted me on arrival, with supplies for great breakfast in the fridge and delicious home made bread. Sunday morning I was delighted with a freshly baked muffin. The cottage was spotless and very peaceful looking on to a beautifully kept parklike garden. I will come again.
We had a relaxing two night stay. Maggie was a wonderful host who communicated very well. We loved her fresh-baked bread and muffins. Kookaburras in the tree outside and black cockatoos circling overhead. Will definitely return. :)
Frogsong Cottages are beautiful. We stayed in Yellow Cottage at the end of the row. Our lovely host left us a substantial breakfast tray of cereal, fruit, fresh bread, eggs, milk and butter. Her home baked muffins and biscuits were divine!
The cottage itself had an enough crockery, cutlery plus those extras that a traveller appreciates- a tea pot and coffee plunger, extra blankets and knee rugs to keep chills away and plenty of towels.
Our wee dog was welcomed warmly and he enjoyed a run up and down the slopes.
There is limited network coverage on this part of the world so make sure you pack a good book or enjoy the board games included in the cottage.
Altogether a very pleasant getaway!
This was my second time staying at Frogsong and once again I was blown away. The setting is absolutely stunning, and we loved listening to the birds and frogs as we watched the sun slide through the trees from our own private sunny deck. The cottage was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay (the hot water bottles were particularly appreciated!). By far the biggest stand out, as it was last time, was Maggie and Dave's hospitality. Maggie could NOT have been more welcoming, warm and accommodating if she tried. The communication leading up to our stay was excellent, and Maggie went to great lengths to ensure we found the place ok and arrived safely. The heater was on in our room, with a loaf of freshly baked bread and homemade cookies waiting for us, and on Sunday morning Maggie delivered homemade muffins (still warm from the oven) to our door. We had wonderful chats with both Dave and Maggie as they worked around the property and they made both us and our dogs feel so welcome. True hosts in every sense of the word. We very much hope to be back soon.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend. We were so glad the property was accomodating of our furry family member. It was a lovely surprise to see the beautiful brekkie provision. It was a great location too to be able to explore the area.
We loved our stay at Frogsong cottages. Maggie and David are very friendly, kind Hosts. The home baked bread and muffins are amazing. The beds are really comfortable. The views from the windows are beautiful. Our Kelpie dog was made to feel so welcome, she loved her stay too. The location of Mountain Bay is beautiful and so tranquil, only a 15 minute drive to Mansfield. We'll definitely be back
