Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Our south facing shome has everything you’ll need for a stay away from home. 220v EV charging, heated concrete floors, fully stocked kitchen, large soaking tub, a shower with a view and blackout curtains in the bedroom, King size bed (bunks for kids) make for a peaceful stay that’s close to all that Skagit Valley and surrounding area has to offer. Imagine waking to an owls greeting, morning sunrise and sunset that kisses the mountains to the east.
The space
The shome is located on 5 acres on one of the most desirable areas of Mount Vernon. It’s south facing on a slope with views of the valley. The space has a full kitchen, living room, work desk space, full luxurious bathroom, bunk beds and a large bedroom with a king size bed. Located outside is a seating area overlooking the valley. We have 220v outlet for vehicle charging located by the entrance door.

You’ll have full access to the apartment. Found in the bedroom second closet is the washer and dryer.

Perfect Location!
This was a perfect location for staying and exploring the Skagit Valley including tulip farms. The shome was clean and welcoming! Loved the valley view. Was close to all.

Perfect Home Base for the Tulip Fair
We came into town to catch the tulips. The home was very close and convenient to the tulip farms, Mount Vernon and La Conner. The home had ample parking, was very clean and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and cozy. The only imperfection was the poor soundproofing between our unit and the one above. We've lived in apartments in crowded cities, so it didn't bother us.

Great Place! It was clean and well equipped. It was off the beaten path with a fantastic view. Sitting on the porch watching our dog play in the field was extremely relaxing. And the host was just great.Definitely a 5 star all the way.

Girls getaway to see the Tulip Festival
This “shome” is pretty central to the many tulip gardens. Easy commute between the “shome” and various activities and restaurants. The patio has a gorgeous view with local deer wandering by. The host family contains two charming golden retriever mix dogs that we adored. Hostess is helpful, funny, and attentive without overwhelming the vibe. These two old gals thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
