The Cabin was just as described! A great place for our 3 generation get together. Clean and welcoming! Extremely family friendly, great game room, trampoline and hot tub! We had a fantastic time and the rental exceeded our expectations!
This was a great place in a nice neighborhood, close to town. Lots of fun for the kiddos and dog friendly. Note when booking that the check-in / check-out times are later and earlier than you would expect, respectively.
This is a lovely location in the woods. Perfect for our annual family reunion. The house had everything we could ask for, the hosts have provided everything necessary for a great weekend getaway.
This is a good property for a group. The game room downstairs, the outdoor setup and the well equipped kitchen were terrific. Property is very peaceful and we really enjoyed.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our grandchildren liked the trampoline and the games and toys that were available. The hot tub was great and the Mt Shasta views are awesome.
The things that are good about this house/property are absolutely amazing. Perfect for both adults and children. Literally my only problem was with the check in and check out time, but more the check out time. 10am check out is very early to get four adults and six kids packed up to leave on time. The owner was very nice and responsive. Just wish that the check in/check out times were set with large families in mind. Other than this, it was great!
Excellent house with lots of room for the whole family. There were 5 adults and 3 children ages 3, 7 and 10. The downstairs area for the kids was phenomenal with plenty of things for them to play with. They literally spent hours playing with the horses and other toys. Mom had a bed of her own and the girls enjoyed the bunk beds. Upstairs the kitchen area was wonderful. A huge butcher block held all of our dry goods and the dining room table fit us all for our big dinners. The outside area was great. Really enjoyed the gas fire pit for morning coffee. The deck was of nice size and accommodated everyone well.
The only complaints were that it was mostly dirt with lots of pitch/sap from the trees. After walking towards the hammock, you came back mighty sticky. One recommendation, bring deep woods off as we were eaten alive by mosquitos, but we spend a lot of time out of doors. Other than that, our stay was fabulous and highly recommend especially if you enjoy a woodsy atmosphere.
We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful and clean cabin very close to Mt. Shasta! So peaceful! Definitely would recommend this property if coming to the area!
This house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the gear required for cooking (including sharp knives - not always the case in rental houses). There are plenty of spaces to spread out (inside and outside). It is set up for kids to find lots to do, too. Host is very welcoming and ready to help if needed.
Lovely home with a hot tub in a serene natural settingDeer, blue jays, squirrels and the magnificent pines welcome youThe beds are very comfortable and cozyWe prepared meals daily in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed them in the dining roomI highly recommend this beautiful place
This is a lovely home in the woods. It’s perfect for multigenerational families with a private space downstairs. We found it close to the lake, the museum and town.
Wonderful stay with a great private view of Shasta
We had a lovely stay at Rana’s property. The home had lots of fun areas to relax and play. Most of all we enjoyed the views of Shasta and the forest setting.
Nice roomy cabin with lots of open space. There were five of us staying at this time and everyone loved the experience. The beds were very comfortable and the large property was very nice just to walk around and enjoy. we were here with our cars for a car show, and the only negative thing was that the driveway was gravel and dirt and made for a lot of extra cleaning prior to our show events.
Excellent property. Absolutely want to come back and can recommend to my friends.
Only problem was Hot water stopped during shower.
And difficult to control hot & cold water in shower room.
After self-quarantining for a week my family of 3 spent 2 weeks here with our closest friends. It was just what we all needed - fresh air, comfortable accommodations, fun for the kids, out door activities and connection. The owner was kind, accommodating and accessible. We took walks, rode bikes into town, went backpacking for a few days, cooked in the well-supplied kitchen and all slept comfortably. Thank you!
We came in the Fall to hike on and near Mt. Shasta, and had a great time. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths upstairs, with a large living room, dining room, big kitchen area and wood burning stove. Downstairs was a room full of beds, with full laundry and half bath. Two large TV's, bumper pool table, lots of games. Central heating worked just fine. There was a portable room air conditioner that we did not use. The house is not super fancy, but very comfortable, with loads of appliances. Would certainly return if coming back to this area.
I liked renting this property the area was really spacious and the house had everything we needed overall it was a good rental property and I would rent again
The house is well cared for and has a nice layout. The hill behind the house was wonderful for sledding and sliding down in the snow. The trampoline and swing outdoors were fun to use. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the toys.
Easy access, plenty of parking, quiet street.
Nice layout for hanging out with family and friends. Great deck in back, and close to downtown and beautiful Mt Shasta!
Well stocked and clean. The wi-fi went out a few times, and we figured out how to re-set it- you have to flip the GCFI outlet in the garage which is odd but not a big deal. Just FYI.
