When the resident family wasn’t home, it was nice and quiet. We also loved the friendly cat that came to visit—it was a sweet touch! Additionally, the owner was very responsive and quickly helped us when we needed new batteries for the remote.CONS: The listing stated it comfortably sleeps three with a queen bed and a twin bed, but the “twin bed” was actually an air mattress, not a real bed. Also, this rental is essentially a mother-in-law suite attached to the main house, which was not clearly described in the listing. Because of this, it felt less secluded than expected. We could hear the resident family, even with the windows closed, including children playing, screaming, and even full phone conversations. While we’re not opposed to kids being kids, we specifically chose this place expecting a more private and quiet experience. The listing describes it as a “cozy guest quarters” and it appeared under “entire home” results, which felt misleading given that it’s attached to an occupied main residence.Overall, this place has some lovely qualities, but clearer expectations in the listing would have made a big difference in our experience."

"This Vbro rental was perfect. It was very clean on the inside and felt like a stay at a wonderful home. The hosts were incredibly nice, they baked lavender chocolate scones and helped us find the location in the dark. I definitely plan on staying at the rental again. "

The road and driveway up to the house are themselves quite an experience, and guests should be aware that there are quite a few stairs up to the large deck. "
