Location is amazing! Right by the lake and a 1 minute drive to the hotsprings. Accomodation is decent for the price - it's a backpackers so bit of noise and doors banging etc. But worth the price.

After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced.

Second time stay at the family bach, first time in summer and now in winter. Never disappoint! Despite having no tap water on the first night due to record breaking temperature that froze the taps! Staff was very transparent about the whole situation and offered us water to get through the night. Also very helpful and guided us where is safest to park with all the snow around and they clear the roads in the morning for traffic. Best to drive between 10am - 4pm in snow days. Snow chains are not needed but we were told it's a must to have them in car and know how to install if needed. Beautiful views from the house, short stroll to the lake and hot springs. 20 minutes walk to the shops. Towels, bedding, hairdryer and kitchen utensils are provided. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!
