This hotel was old, needing updates, but clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was one of the better tasting ones that I've had in a hotel!

Room was large and comfortable, but the toilet and tub were not clean. Reception staff person was friendly and efficient.

Cheerful 3-Bedroom Home on the Hill
What a cute space for a long sisters & cousins weekend in Roanoke. The house had everything we needed, including a full spice rack! Host was quickly responsive to our needs and the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing.

Clean, comfortable home.
Property was immaculate. Nice open floor plan. Big backyard with firepit. Great shower pressure and parking. Home owner was prompt with responses. Perfect place for four women coming back to Marion for a high-school reunion. Will stay here again in 5 years when we have the next one. :)

We enjoyed the historic setting and understand the challenges of maintaining such a site. The house is unique and of interest. Everyone enjoyed the setting. Cons: One of the showers had a very low flow rate. We were also infested with wasps inside. We killed many! The kitchen was well-appointed. ...
