Welcome to The Baker Belle — your charming escape nestled literally in the middle of downtown Mt. Dora. Built in 1948, this cozy cottage is the only private home located within the business district, placing you steps away from Mt. Dora’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions. Park the car and forget it—you can walk everywhere!

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to relax and feel at home:
• A King-size memory foam bed with a luxe Ritz-Carlton-style mattress topper
• Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & more
• Smart TV with Netflix & more for cozy nights in
• Porch perfect for people-watching with a glass of wine in hand

Feeling social? You’re within 1 block of top restaurants like 1921, Wave, Las Palmas, and the Modernism Museum. Or head two blocks over to Maggie’s Attic for wine tastings and boutique shopping.

Pet-friendly too! Your well-behaved pup (under 30 lbs) is welcome to join. Please not there is a pet fee.

• Free curbside parking in front of the home after 6 p.m. (limited to 4 hrs from 11 a.m.–6 p.m.)
• Additional free overnight parking garage just a 2-minute walk away at 250 N Donnelly St

Cozy and convenient!

I really enjoyed my stay, the cottage is so cute and cozy. Couldn't ask for a better location, easy walk to all the stores and restaurants. Parking was not an issue for me, there was availability whenever I needed it. What a joy, I would love to have spent more time there, when I return I will be booking the tiny cottage again!

Quaint & Perfect for Two

We came to Mt Dora for the annual Mt Dora Yacht Club Regatta in March and stayed at this quaint little cottage. It’s decorated beautifully and it’s truly located in the downtown historic district. It’s close to everything. We loved it so much that we booked it again, in October.

Anniversary Get Away

A wonderful weekend anniversary get away with my wife. The "Tiny House" was perfect. Just what we needed to enjoy down Mt. Dora. Walking distance to everything. Come have a stay. You won't be disappointed!

Lovely cottage in a perfect location!

Everything about our stay was right on point. The cottage was clean and provided easy access to coffee, breakfast, shops, and restaurants. The owner was pleasant, accommodating and communicated well. Lovely place to stay in Mt. Dora, FL

I loved the ease of the entrance and check in. The rental was very clean and exactly as shown. Would stay again for sure. The only issue is parking and would have rather had access to the driveway located on property. Restaurants in area are wonderful. Thanks Karen!

Christmas in Mount Dora

My dog and I stayed here over the holiday weekend. The town was incredible, the people were all friendly, and the place was gorgeous. The cottage was clean, accommodating, and beautiful! HIGHLY recommended! Host communicated well and was very accommodating to my pup! Although the place is downtown, it was quiet and peaceful. Really lovely place!

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage in the heart of Mount Dora. The host was communicative and accommodating. The cottage is within walking distance of downtown. The cottage is very pretty and has everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the fenced patio to people watch. We would consider this place again for future trips.

Dog Lover Stay

Lovely little house within walking distance to everything! The Owner was very responsive and the place was ideal for us and our two small dogs. A word of caution, mowing can start as early as 7 AM and a large refrigerated truck came in the early hours of the morning, parked a half block away and left the truck running which was noisy and woke us up. No fault of the Owner though.

Great location to downtown!

The property was as described. Very clean...and I am very picky! Bed was comfy. Pillows were a bit too puffy for me and my partner. Overall a great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown. We were there when Mt Dora was having it's Spring Fest and unfortunately the street the house is on was one of those that was going to be closed. But an available parking lot was close by so it wasn't a big deal. I would stay there again so I would highly recommend it.
