I purchased “Casa de Fior” (Fior's Home) in honor and for my mother in hopes she’ll one day retire and want to live closer to me. It’s conveniently located in the historical district of downtown Mount Dora. In the meantime guests can enjoy the comforts of her home until she’s ready to retire.

My friend and I enjoyed the accommodations, very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking to town. Highland Cafe was a great recommendation from the owner.
We enjoyed our 4-day stay. The house was clean and nicely decorated and located in a well-kept neighborhood with lots of trees and friendly neighbors. it is about 10 blocks from the town square which was a little far for us to walk but there is plenty of parking. Two thumbs-up!
The house was clean and the beds very comfortable. It is an older home but We enjoyed our stay and felt at home. Our 5 year old Cockapoo was very comfortable also.
Very comfortable stay. Great location. Plenty of towels. Nice decor. Easy check-in. Host provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities in Mt. Dora.
An absolute amazing experience form beginning to end!
we loved the house, the location the garden and the trees in the garden.
Jessica was kind, helpful and easily available.
Had a fantastic time and hope we will come back.
The cottage was in a quiet residential area with beautiful trees. It was clean and appointed with all the things needed in the bath and kitchen. The only drawback was the tv, the local stations were unavailable (for the Super Bowl game. We loved the downtown area and parks.
Mt Dora is a charming town with a great historic district, and our host house provided an also charming retreat while there. It’s a dog friendly house and Mt Dora is a dog friendly town. There are great trails nearby, and a boardwalk hike, over the water, that is a beautiful place to walk. Do pay attention to the Gator warning signs tho!
If you’re looking for a nice getaway in a quaint town, Mt Dora is the place. And the house we stayed at was perfect. It was small, but for two people it was great. The place had everything we needed from coffee and tea to shampoo! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and even used the nice backyard and fire pit as it got cold at night. Downtown Mt Dora had a great New Year’s Eve celebration and we were able to walk from the house. Another plus for the house was it had parking which is not easy to find. Thanks Jessica for sharing your lovely home!
Everything was as described. Beds were comfortable. Location of the house was near downtown. Back yard was great for our dogs and fenced in. Only complaint….please fix the door knob to one of the bedrooms. It kept falling off.
My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this nicely appointed, conveniently located cottage in historic Mount Dora. The home is decorated very well and offers everything a small group would need while in the area.
Quaint cottage with a excellent access to downtown Historic district.
A great and comfortable place for a small family or 2 couples. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our little dog, and it has ample space for family members to enjoy too.
Quaint and cute, loved the decor, they had everything we needed even things we forgot like a hairdryer. Close to the historic district, you could walk but it’s a bit of a walk, so we drove parked for the day and came home. Close to plenr
This well appointed cottage had everything we needed for our trip. The owner was SO helpful with local area recommendations and our pups were very welcome. Adotsble cottage and so beautifully decorated!
