The location was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, the staff service was unbeatable, and the meal they prepared for us was delicious and memorable. "We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.

"Large clean room. Great view of Mt. Fuji and a lot of things within walking distance. Also very nice of them even after you checkout that they will hold onto your luggage. If you are going to hike Mt. Fuji the bus stop is right out front. Such a pleasant experience. "

"The property has a lovely relaxing resort feel which was welcome after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Kyoto ! The rooms are very spacious .. we upgraded to the ocean view room which was definitely worth it ! The balcony and view was amazing !
The breakfast was a lovely inclusion. , enough Western options . We had dinner there as well and was good .
Tried out the onsen which was very relaxing and did help my sore joints !
The town of Atami is a bit run down , but the temple is nice and pics from the top of the ropeway were okay for a walk around but not much to do/ see . "
