"We stayed here for 2 nights over the halloween weekend with our kids. It was my youngest sons bday. The hotel staff were incredibly nice. They left a handwritten card and a bottle of wine for the grown ups and another handwritten card and a small box of brownies for my son whose bday it was. He was so thrilled! On halloween they had treats and drinks in the lobby that my kids really loved. The location is perfect for families with kids because it is steps from the playground. We took the free shuttle to the trick or treat neighbourhood nearby which was also steps away in front of the mcd's. The trick or treat neighbourhood was awesome!! I also loved that there were restaurants and a grocery store just steps from us too. The room was spacious and lovely. The kitchenette in the room was very useful for a family with kids and restrictive diets. The only complaint i have is that the hot tub was ice cold one morning. But i let the staff know and they had maintenance fix it asap. We went for a walk and came back a couple hours later and it was good to go. The vacation wasnt ruined because of it. Just a minor setback. Overall i just love the homely vibe here. And the convenient location. Would definitely stay here again. For people who go to whistler for the bars, this might be a bit out of the way. But for people with kids or dogs, this is the perfect location. Thanks for the birthday card for my son...it made his day!"
