"This cottage with view porch is pre-fab housing, efficiently constructed to use solar power and filtered and UV-treated rainwater. There is a vegetable greenhouse on the property and the hosts are generous in sharing produce. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean. The bed is large and superb. The place is next-door to the fabled Motueka River for fly-fishing enthusiasts; and, it is only about a 15 min. drive to Motueka city center and its Sunday Market. Situated on a hillside, automobile parking is at the bottom of a 50 meter up-or-down walk...although temporary loading and unloading at the top is easily done. WiFi reception had dropouts, something the host is working to update. In the South Island, I found that I often needed to rely on a data/hotspot E-sim in my iPhone over the locally available WiFi. If you are capable of a short hillside walk to car parking, this is an excellent place to stay...in my mind superior to being in Motueka town."

"We booked this property for its proximity to Abel Tasman park but we’re very impressed with the standard of accommodation, the helpful and friendly staff who’d thought of everything. There were ample restaurants a short walk away and also a supermarket. "

"Nice room, a bit humid, but it is that part of the year when humidity is everywhere. Hosts were nice, Barb is simply great and caring. Parking is convenient, area is quiet and peaceful. It's a simple family like place. They offered fruits from their garden, own jams and honey. Garden is beautiful, we loved sitting and watching the sunset there."
