"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. "This hotel was gorgeous!! Perfect beach, like a dream. The upgraded room was beautiful and worth every cent. The only reason I am rating this slightly lower, is because 60% of the staff is SO rude. To start off positive- the morning breakfast staff were so kind and welcoming. The beach bar staff- SO great! Maybe 1 of the receptionists and room service, also kind. Besides for that- never in my life have I stayed at such a beautiful hotel with such unfriendly staff. Practically anytime we would try to kindly ask for help (a taxi reserved, reservation at dinner, to pay the bill at the hotel restaurant), we were met with an eye roll and unfriendly reply. Not sure if it’s a cultural difference but it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced this in Europe or Italy specifically- so worth noting!! Still the pros outweighed the cons and we had a great time once we changed our expectations of the level of service. <3"

The location is perfect The hosts Beppe and Mara were very accommodating they really made a difference they attended to all our needs they are hands on we felt like part of their family . They know Cefalu very well and made excellent suggestions and reservations for us The suites are modern clean and beautiful We stayed 6 nights we loved Cefalu and can’t wait to come back next year 👍"

"This hotel is amazing. I loved it so much I booked more nights and decided to cancel my next hotel. This hotel is extremely special , it’s unique , it’s boutique , the staff is so welcoming , the breakfast was great, the views are gorgeous, the walk to the town is close by , the pool area is beautiful , the grounds are meticulously maintained , the private beach is a huge plus, hotel guests get access to the reef beach club which is an OASIS! There is nothing like it in the area, we loved swimming in the pristine water with cool currents hugging your body, it’s the perfect way to spend a hot day in cefalu, they cater to you while you lounge on a comfortable seaside bed as the ocean breeze and views slowly melt your stress away.. you will Love this hotel, it’s an experience you won’t regret .."
