"I always take reviews with a grain of salt but Villa Cardak lived up to the hype and was more than we expected. Susanna and her husband Neja are the consummate hosts! They not only parked pour car for us but greeted us with a refreshing lemonade and Turkish delight. The location is the best you could ask for in Mostar...you are literally a stone's throw from everything you would want to see. The room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the courtyard. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If only every place was this perfect!"

"The woman at the front desk was very knowledgable and able to answer all our questions about the city as well as our on-going travel plans. Breakfast was delicious and, again, the staff was very professional and everything was exceptionally clean. The location is a minute's walk from the heart of the city. This place is perfect!"

"Perfect location for walking through the old town area. We felt very safe…no issues. Room was large and spacious for our family of 4. Very clean. Nice balcony/patio area. The breakfast was epic…absolutely a highlight with a range of food for everyone with traditional coffee, pancakes, omelettes, meat, fruit, cheese, breads…my boys still talk about it when people ask about our holiday!!! ;-) staff were all lovely."

"Parking was great( get location beforehand) Just steps from oldtown. Nicely decorated. The host was super friendly. There is a huge terrace with a nice view. Restaurants, stores and coffee right on the block. The bed though nice and big was a little firm for me"

The apartment was spotless, quiet and comfortable. Located about a 20 min walk to the Old Bridge. Highly recommend staying here. "

"Such a nice hotel almost hidden out of sight. Very well located in Mostar as its in the centre. Room was great and very clean alongside having some nice traditional charm. Staff were very helpful and will carry stuff to your door for you. There are a few options for parking, in the street or a public car park just behind. This is about €15 a day but you need to pay in local currency. The hotel desk will happily change the money for you. Great hotel would recommend to anyone "
