"Me & hubby stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday & our anniversary we had the king bedroom (high seas) with the Salina river view. This is a cute little place outside the city that provides amazing getaway. The room was a lot smaller than what appeared on the website. The bed had a space all around it…mimicking that of a boat. This made climbing in & out of it rather unsafe & cumbersome…. We kept hitting our feet on the corners since the room was so small to walk & the space was tight. I see potential fall risk! However, our stay was very comfortable & the quiet, serene ambience is exactly what we needed to relax. The kitchen downstairs always had water & some small snacks for the visitors. The best part is that the management answered prompt to our questions & were easily available on the phone. Highly recommended this place & will absolutely return when visiting Moss Landing"

"This is a gorgeous spot for a relaxing beach vacation. Beautiful house (it shares a wall with quiet neighbors) with bedrooms in three separate, private wings, each with their own bathrooms, with two bedrooms having knockout views of the beach, and well-stocked kitchen with everything you need (including good coffee, oil and vinegar etc.) and a welcoming family room. The house has a great barbecue grill and all the necessary beach stuff. The hosts responded to questions immediately and made the place really welcoming. The site is a private, quiet beach community with tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, a nice pool and a good hot tub. And the beach goes on for miles. And you are an easy drive to amazing coastal walks, a redwood grove, and Monterey and its famous aquarium. I went with three generations of family members, eight in all, and it worked well and we had a blast."

"Quaint inn with comfortable rooms in 3 buildings. The 2-story blue building has a 19thc fisherman village vibe. The photo is deceptive- it looks like you have the whole main floor- the living room and the bedroom. The listing is only the bedroom. It’s a less expensive room without a view that is only steps away. Not large room but tall ceiling. Great bed with great pillows- soft mattress which I prefer. Nice little gas fireplace. Big accessible bathroom with walk-in shower. Tall windows that could use different window treatments to block lower parts while letting in light at upper parts otherwise people can see in from the driveway and front yard. .There is a common separate eating space with a shared fridge and microwave but the kitchen is not available to guests. Quiet street though there is traffic noise in the mornings. There is a nice common deck area that overlooks the estuary and nice yard space though there’s no sun shades over pergolas. Beautiful place for sunsets and bird watching. A six minute walk to the docks for whale watching cruises— Sanctuary Cruises is the best!"
