It was chilly by the time we made it to the second cabin and the fire place was a great addition. It ran out if propane at some point which was ok because it did the job beforehand and then without asking maintenance came around while we were out exploring the day away and refilled it! "Sally was a wonderful host. The cabin was so cozy and adorable. Having our coffee on the porch in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. I had never been to the area before so Sally made some nice suggestions. We stopped by Davey Crockett park which was a very interesting and very pretty stroll. "The Best mountain cabin retreat in the US. Delightful Trout fishing in your own fully forested backyard. Cabin is updated inside and out. Artful Decor is whimsical. Local restaurants and stores are easy to access and interesting. Kitchen is fully outfitted to eat at home. Right on the Appalachian Trail with its unique transients. "We rented Viking Mountain Lodge for my mom’s 80th birthday (4 adults and 1 yellow lab). The cabin is as advertised - beautiful location and everything we needed. recommend the drive to the top of Viking Mountain and the hike to Blackstack Cliffs. The village of Hot Springs is really cool and the AT runs straight through downtown. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail!"

"Poppy's Place is a wonderful cabin with great views! We spent Christmas of 2023 there and had a great time! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and came with everything we needed!! The hosts were great with communication and replied to each text message we sent when we had questions.
