The only good thing was Martin. Nobody in the office the whole stay, cabin not ready, no sheets, dirty cabin, dirty fridge. Bathrooms were clean but the camp garbage was overflowing and putrid smelling. Only booked this for the cabin and driving range, of course the range was closed and in disrepair. Overall disaster of a property but we made the most of it and Thank Martin for making it so we could make it work. Nothing was as advertised except the rustic cabin itself but it could use a cleaning and a battery for the smoke detector. Expedia should drop this property ASAP.
Friendly staff..the resort was kept clean
.quiet and relaxing..

No one was at the property when we arrived at 9 pm. No one answered when we called after hours number posted on the office window. Reception was really bad at the area, so I had hard time finding location that would connect me. I called Expedia and they tried to call the owner, and he picked up. So someone showed up an hours later after our arrival. They didn’t check us in, they just opened our suit. Nothing was ready, bedding was being dried when we arrived, there was no room for all of us. No towels in the bathroom. No light switch covers either. I had small children with me. Not having our room ready by 9 pm is unexeptable. It was also not safe for us to stay with exposed wires at the light switch, so we had to look for somewhere else to stay. They owner refused to refund our money for the two nights stay, which was over $250. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Owner doesn’t seem to care about anything, he only wants your money. He makes his people work very hard and he’s not even able to answer his phone. When I called at 9 am he sounded like I woke him up. He also hung up on me after I called to talk about our refund
There was nothing wrong with this place at all, there are a lot of bad reviews for this place because people think that this is a five-star hotel.... but it’s an RV park. The bathrooms were fine and clean. All the showers were clean. The kitchen had pretty much all we needed To cook. No complaints. I’d probably stay here again
Our accommodations weren’t what was advertised. Then in the middle of the night the water was shut off so that included the toilets, showers or sinks not working. The toilets were full..we had to go use the bathroom at Safeway. When we called (several times) and went to the office (a couple of times) no one would answer and voicemail not set up. She wouldn’t respond to texts either. We ended up having to book the rest of our trip at a different place. Unacceptable!! Hotels.com did try call too with no answer. Hotels.com did give me a credit although not the amount we paid for the night but grateful they did what they could. I will never stay or recommend that place to anyone.
I liked that Bella, the property person i dealt with, made a potentially bad situation work out great. Expedia overbooked the sweet we rented through Expedia even though someone has been living in that suite for almost a year. Bella was very professional and upgraded us to the cottage with many more amenities. THANK YOU BELLA!!
The cabin is a shed with lights, beds, 2 windows, an air conditioner, a small tv that is grainy. One of the plugins was hanging half way out of the wall. The beds make noise with every little movement.
We had a cabin...not at all what the website looked like. It was basically camping in a cabin. Shared bathroom with the whole resort. No paper towel, lacking toilet paper and had to clean the counter before o would even brush my teeth. The price for this was astronomical...it was a $50.00 per night and that might be generous.
We were lucky that we kept our confirmation on our phone. The very nice lady said that she couldn’t find our reservation and wanted to know what price we were told and if we had been charged. Then she found out Info. We got the wrong key to our room (a real key)and had to find the maintenance man to get us the right one. The room was in an actual house and though it was mostly clean we still used our own sheets and blankets and towels. It seemed like someone had been there the night before as she said she needed to change the sheets before we went in. It was a busy weekend in the area and they refused to give us a refund. The next day no one was in the office nor the day we went to check out. Never again. 😶

OUR ROOM WAS REPRESENTED AS AHVING 2 QUEEN BEDS AND A PULLOUT SOFA WITH AN ATTACHED BATH/SHOWER. IT WAS AN UNMADE BUNK BED AND 1 QUEEN W/O AN COMMUNIAL BATHROOM. WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED HERE KNOWING THERE WAS NOT A PRIVATE BATHROOM

I booked the SUITE (w/ two queen beds and a sofa) at Sunny Springs RESORT & Campground in February 2018 for an event in September 2018 (7 months in advance). Upon check-in we were given the key to a rustic cabin (with no bathroom) with a queen bed and a bunk bed. I went back to the woman who checked us in and advised that I booked the suite and expected to have two queen beds not a bunk bed. I was advised that is where the owner placed us and that the suite was booked out for several weeks and not available. I called the owner to address the issue, I felt as though he couldn't have cared less and that I was not a valued customer. He said he would issue a credit for the difference of the suite the next week, that was over three weeks ago. I strongly recommend that if you choose to stay here to make sure you set your expectations low, it is NOT a resort and the owner could care less about customer service.
We stayed in a cabin. After specfucally calling to make sure bedding was provided on the beds we arrived to bedding on the double bed and just a fitted sheet on the bunk beds. Very irratating. Remote to tv did not work so turned on it manually. When the tv was on it was very grainy - very bad reception.
The place was double booked. There were 2 other couples in line waiting, with an Expedia rep on speaker trying to figure out how to proceed. I had two small kids with me. After 30 minutes of waiting and seeing that the other people were not being taken care of, we left to find a different hotel.
The owner of this facility is horrible to deal with. I hope this place can be red flagged by Expedia. This place needs to be shut down. After reading some more current reviews online I can see that it has become a recurrent problem.
Was only there 1 night but the staff was great and my cabin was clean and comfortable. The grounds and ammenities looked good also but didnt have a chance to utilize them. Would go back for longer
I enjoyed the cabin and the pool (when it was open). Even though the pool supposedly opens at 10 AM, both Saturday and Sunday (8/4-8/5/18) is was much closer to 10:30. If it opens at 10:30, just say 10:30.
Additionally, I called no less than 3 times since August 2 with a question about the room and the rental and attempted contact via the Expedia website instant messaging. I still have yet to receive a call back or a message in response.
The accommodations listed were not what were available, but the staff rushed to clean something and accommodate. They had us set up in no time in somewhere with enough beds, clean, and spacious. A little off the beaten path, but only about 10 minutes from town and a nice relaxing stay with pleasant helpful staff!

The night clerk was pleasant and even brought towels to my cabin for me. I had trouble unlocking the cabin one night after hours, but someone took my call and sent a person to make sure I was able to get in, although I had jimmied it by that time. This is not a luxury resort by any means, but it was certainly a pleasant stay in a decent cabin with heater, air conditioner, microwave, fridge, and television, and that is really all I wanted for my three-day stay. The bamboo pillows were a big plus! Yes, I would stay there again.
I was invited to do an event to bring tourism to soaplake last february and it cancelled three weeks later, and I called to cancel my motel booking, it was refused and they already had my credit card for deposit and took $198.00 even though there was no way I could use the trip as I vend my wares at these music events and it was supposed to help pay motel bill...anyhoo..very sad:( Doesnt make me want to come to soap lake now)
