"The Talta lodge was awesome - nestled in the woods by the river, this facility has everything you need for a getaway in Stowe, VT close to town and the mountain. The room was clean & compact but had everything you need. There is a Sauna and pool onsite. The front desk was very welcoming and friendly."

"We chose this location because it allowed us to bring our dog, and it really lived up to being dog friendly. We were on a ground floor and had two exits -- the back one had a porch that stepped out into a yard that had a dog poop disposal can, so quick and easy. Our room was clean and looked like it had been renovated recently. Bathroom was a little small. Sidewalks were present on the road. Definitely recommend. "

"We have stayed at Stoweflake in April for the past few years. It is becoming a family tradition! We love the accommodations - rooms are quiet, bed are very comfortable, room is spacious for our family of 4. I love the gym and use it daily, and we enjoy racquetball and billiards as a family. Location is easy to access many great dining locations, downtown shopping, and the Recreation path for walks or biking. The resort could use some updates, but it is still a great spot for us. We also enjoy a massage during out stay, but the spa was not in service for a couples massage this year. "
