This is a nice hotel, with very helpful staff. It is on the mountainside with great views, but you won't see the view from your room unless you choose a Japanese style room (the twin rooms are on the back of the hotel). They have an excellent onsen (Japanese public bath), but there is no shower in the room itself. Restaurant meals are buffet style (at least when we were there).

硫黄泉を堪能出来て大満足でした
冬場の下見と温泉を目当てに伺いました。岩手では数少ない硫黄泉系（個人的には硫化硫黄泉や硫黄泉が好きなので）なので、お風呂を堪能させて頂きました。 　食事もこの価格帯では高いレベルだと思います。 　自家用車で向かう際にはナビによって細い別荘地を通り抜けるルートに誘導されるかもしれませんので自家用車で冬季や悪天候時に向かわれる方はその点注意が必要かもしれません。

値段の割におもてなしが凄い宿
ソーシャルディスタンスと滞在者の事を考えた気配りが随所にある。鍵も2本・沢水の氷水・湯巡り籠・除菌スプレーも至る所に設置・浴衣も数種類用意されて交換の手間がかからない。布団敷きの要否の確認も気が効いてる。食事もビュッフェながら思った以上に用意されてて楽しめた。
隣接してる日帰り入浴施設も無料で利用出来る♪

温泉が素晴らしい。露天風呂からの景色は秋田駒ケ岳や乳頭山が見え、入り日が乳頭山の脇を赤く染め、別天地。泉質も硫黄泉で、これぞ温泉という感じ。また、食事も十分な量。特に朝食のパンと乳製品は美味しい。朝風呂の水温がやや低いのは残念。でもスタッフの接客が素晴らしい。よって満点。また、スキーに来たい。

眺めのよい露天風呂
ロケーションがすばらしく、眺望がよく静かです。また温泉の湯質がまろやかでよかったし、露天風呂も快適でした。
