Find a Great Motel Moriarty

"After a long drive, this fits the bill for an over night stay. Fresh air and nature. We slept in a comfy room with a view of the night sky. The outdoor bathroom is a very close walk and is lit at night. Robbie, our host was very nice and accommodating. "

"I always prefer staying at these family/independently owned properties, as opposed to big corporate hotels. This one came through with flying colors. I thought the retro feel was fun and the rooms were impeccably clean. It is busier street, but with the AC or heat running you don't really hear it. Staff was so pleasant upon arrival. Loved the little breakfast goodie bag! I will definitely stay here again, as I pass through several times a year."

" We loved our stay at the Pine Cone Inn! It was just what we needed to decompress for a week. Located just far enough away from Albuquerque for peace and quiet, but close enough to easily drive down for dinner and to enjoy the balloon festival. It's on a quiet road, with the top of Sandia Crest and it's amazing panoramic views from a deck and walkways at a 10,700 feet altitude are just a 20-minute drive up the road. And all along that drive there were countless wonderful hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult, many of them ending up with amazing views in all directions. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds and linens and was very cute and cozy. It has a wonderful front patio area to sit and relax and a very nice hot tub with great views, surrounded by a pine forest.There are lots of little places to grab something to eat nearby if you don't want to drive into Albuquerque, and a beautiful golf course and dining room with an outside patio and deck to watch the sunset less than 10 minutes away. Brad, the host, was extremely communicative and helpful and we were happy to have rented from him and will do so again in the future. You really can't go wrong with this wonderful little secluded Paradise!"

"Wonderful place! Rooms were comfy and the decor was so fun - all log cabin. Full kitchen with a wonderful dining table. The outdoor deck was to die for. We enjoyed the hot tub too a couple of times. Place was close to a small town called Cedar Crest and not far from the Balloon Fiesta area. I would recommend this place to anyone and also stay here again. "
